aero vs dwc

db last question for you if you dont mind. is there any aero systems that are make for very big plants that could compete with dwc? down the road once i have a huge amount of light il probably have to switch to a different type of system that uses alot less clones and i like the aeroflo cause all i need to use is neoprene inserts and no hydroton

and how much of a difference do you think that makes knowing its also nft? so if it can produce a small enough droplet than that would mean the roots get more steady oxygen?
To produce a small enough droplet isn't feasible if you ask me, I do like to spray the upper part of the roots with a pump and misters(low pressure), this makes it so I can use less nutrient , other than that I don't know that there are any benefits, the plants seem to like it. I don't bother cycling the pump in flower since the system is on a chiller, a submersible running 24/7 heats water(depending on the size of the pump determines the degree it heats).

Thats the draw back to NFT misters do clog all of them doesnt matter what solution over time they will clog especially if you use a synthetic nute high in salts like GH.
what do you mean why hasent my ez cloner got clogged? its the same thing

You could always compete with DWC you just need longer veg times. You arent worried about yoru buds breaking branches or your plants tipping over. The roots have nothing to sit in. Or do you just flower after clones are rooted?

Tree it's a EZ CLONER you dont put many nutrients in your EZ cloner, your plants dont shit in the water like they do when they are in veg and flower.. Remember your plants shit stuff out too.

the guy I bought my chiller from said he was getting 4 zips a plant from the aeroflo but he couldn't use all the sites. other than that I don't have any idea on aero systems.

this is true, thus a filter on the big system.

yes i flower after clones are rooted and also the roots have a net pot to cling onto so they stay in place. ive talked to other people that did this and they didnt have a problem. worse case scenario il use hydroton even though i cant stand it!. i could be wrong but i really dont think its gonna be a problem and hopefully the filter is easy to clean cause then il clean it once a week. in my ez cloner i just had sensi 2 part, b-52, voodoo juice, and power clone. i had 120 plants in there for over 3 weeks without changing the res and roots were hanging into the puddle like nft and i still didnt have a problem. the other way im looking at it is theres multiple sprayers in each chamber and even if one gets clogged then theres the nft to back it up until i replace it and then if that fails then only a few plants would die. doesnt seems like a big deal when you have 36 plants unless im wrong about the amount of misters it has

yeah. ez cloner misters don't clog easily, I don't think the aerflo uses that exact mister but it may be similar.

Just looked at the aeroflo mister, yeah its a touch different than the ez cloner mister but basically works in the same way.

Good luck dude.. I always have to tape my net cups down lol they always tip over but you are basically doing SOG style so you shouldnt have that kind of problem with such smaller plants.

are you using neoprenes? i think they would help alot for this. yeah hopefully i wont have a problem. that tape is a good idea though. worst case scenario i guess lol

mmmmm, bud candy, one of my faves, perfect combo for big bud and hammerhead.
