Exactly Define Your God Experiment

Easy as the title. Define exactly what your own definition of what you think God is. The more details the better. Consisting of God looks like, if it is a he/she or it. Certain abilities it may possess. How God was born. What happens when you die. Did God create heaven and hell, if so why? Will God live forever, is it living or dead, what is it made out of? And you don't just have to answer these questions, anything you can tell me at all from the simplest detail to the largest would be much appreciated.

The more details you give to describe exactly what, how, who, when, where, why your God is... the better.

In my considered opinion "exactly define" and "God" are mutually exclusive. If there could be a lexicographic matter-antimatter reaction, behold the reactants. Let there be gamma! cn

Ive always thought of myself as more of an atheist. But if I had to guess, I would assume god would be in some perfectly clean white robe, big old Santa clause beard, and long slightly curly white hair. And of course he will be standing on clouds. And in all the TV shows Ive seen, god has white skin. Oh and I cant forget the sandals. He wouldn't be god without the sandals.

Can you point to a time or place when life was 'transformed?' IOW, what makes you convinced there was a god (or gods) that did anything to life on this planet?

the universe is one big mistake, the reason why there is such thing as life is because of the imperfections of the universe. I think we gained intelligence just like birdds have wings, it just happened like that.

as for "what is god" i dont believe in god, but the force that unites this entire universe as a single being is godlike. you are no different then any form of life out there, you are a spirit, within a vessel. after your vessel has expired it's time, you leave it to find a new vessel.

reincarnation is a million times more believable than "once you die, if you've been god you get to be happy in death, but if you sin, 'god' sends you to the lake of fire where you will burn for all eternity..BUT..he loves you"....as for evolution, it explains a hell of a lot more than a man with a beard made all of what is known today, in seven days. i always wonder why it didn't take him only one day, since he's all powerful and whatnot

the bible's redundancy and contradictions makes the doctrine of christianity parallel to that of a man suffering from skitzophrenic dilusions..it doesnt once make reference to dinasours, of our clear relation to the primate family..so does that mean that god's just testing our faith?, i would find little comfort in believing that, if there was a god, he's playing pranks on us.

but hey, to each their own right? :)

ZB, I wonder what qualifies you to say that religious zealots and schizophrenic persons are the same? No offense, just curious. I do like how you said that 'god' is the force 'in between' stuff, if I can say it like that. Mercury, who I have just been discussing with someone here, is 'just like that'.

i make no such claimsto any sort of qualification, just a matter of perspective really. i'm not saying they are the same, i was only using it as a comparison to the astonishing amount of contradictory claims within the texts.. seriously look up biblical contradictions in google, there's tons

as per your reference regarding Mercury, you mean Mercury from Roman mythology?

yep, the same mercury that is any other creative communications type of god. The word lives, as they say.

Thanks for the clarification. There are parallels due to the area of the brain that occupies itself with religious matters. Contradictions are necessary in my view. They always seem to point to a need for another viewpoint (in me).
