It's also the reason we had to pay repirations to Japan for war crimes. It's actually very well documented. Imo those little fuckers had it coming, a war of aggression can only be won by brute force. And it sucks but in reality when a government does fucked up stuff like the japs did the citizens pay the price. The second bomb may have been unnecessary but it sure git the point across. I'm not saying it was cool, but the lives of some Japanese is not worth the lives of our boys who would have been slaughtered if we had to try an invasion.
