Why are obama's critics so dumb?

Yes yes, a pipeline that has been the most studied in history crossing an area already crisscrossed by pipelines.
is that why the companies are now working with the state of nebraska to avoid crossing the ogallala aquifer?

farmers and ranchers are with obama on this one. that aquifer provides almost 95% of all their water. they want to protect it, as their entire way of life depends on it.

...Obama's stated policy. For green energy to have any chance of gaining ground in America, the cost of oil and fossil fuels must necessarily skyrocket. He has stated that on tape.
i pay my electric company every month, not a tape of president obama.

and my rates are the same.

sorry if that conflicts with your silly little conspiracy theory. protecting the ogallala aquifer does not a conspiracy make.

...The problem is that it is costing jobs, is not realistic, causes a drag on the economy and is painful to the very people Obama claims to be a savior of namely the poor.
when did obama claim to be a savior of the poor, you partisan hack? go find it, quote it, and show me and i will send you a free ounce.

if you think the 100k or so jobs that are simply put on delay are hurtful, you should see what would happen should the ogallala aquifer meet a tar-sanded fate.

Hey UB, drive much? Gas is up 86% since Obama took office.

There is talk of it setting a new level which means by summer it will be near or even over $4.00.

I have to give him credit, he is pushing his ideology regardless of the economy.

The oil will be loaded on ships off the west coast and sail to China to be refined there. But yeah, I bet that is MUCH safer than having a pipeline on solid ground that you could, you know... shut off... Yeah, very safe and ecological...

And there is NIMBY and environmental people ready to jump in on every project.

Yeah, the best thing is to let them sell it to China... The pollution will stay over there when they burn it in their cars cause it is cheap.

you now earn the mark of a partisan hack. blaming gas prices on the president.

maybe you should go vote for michelle bachmann. she said she will make gas cost $2 again.

http://ecocentric.blogs.time.com/2011/08/18/why-michele-bachmanns-2-a-gallon-gas-promise-is-a-fantasy/

perhaps you are not familiar with how the world works.

obama entered office in january of 2009. i feel i need to remind you of this because you have demonstrated that your memory does not extend to periods before 9/9/2011.

in january of 2009, we were mired in a bit of a boondoggle. not sure if you remember that whole recession thingie, but it was in pretty complete and full swing.

when the economy is doing very poorly, demand for gas shrinks, and prices go WAY down. the fact that prices are up is an indication that economic activity has increased.

if you want to blame obama for gas prices going up, as is the mark of the partisan hack, then we must also thank bush for lowering the price of gas, all by simply crashing the entire fucking economy into a ditch.

I think we should be getting gas for 99 cents a gallon or less

Whether or not any jobs have been created is not as important as the fact that we have lost far more than have been created not just with Obama but with Bush as well . At my hometown There are a lot of vacant bldgs where thousands were employed not that long ago , the same is true where I live now . These factories have left our country and I don't see any of these jobs coming back , none of them . I make significantly less now than I made 10-20 years ago , back when gas was less than $1.00 per gallon . Nevermind the rate of inflation since then . Personally I don't care who it is that leads us to better economic times but somebody better do it pretty soon . Is any body else tired of the blaming that goes on with little to no results from both parties ? Whatever is being done it is not enough and far too much blaming . When all these troops come home where are they going to work anyway ?

[h=3]Veterans Jobs Bill Only Part of Obama Jobs Plan to Pass Senate[/h]
this is the only part of the president's job plan that passed, the jobs plan that one partisan hack (who shall remain nameless) said did not exist.

... a business that hires a veteran who is unemployed for at least four weeks would get a $2,400 tax credit or a $5,600 tax credit for hiring a veteran who has been unemployed for more than six months. A business that hires a long-term unemployed veteran who also has disabilities related to their military service will get a $9,600 tax credit.

You were probably more likely to have an intelligent debate over Obama before you mentioned the Kenyan thing..

After reading the thread title, it was safe to assume that intelligent debate had already left the building.

I see what you did there, Bucky.

lol.

You have your opinion like we all do, but I sense you are in it, maybe as much or more for the sake of seeing anothers reaction to your opinion.

I like fucking with people, too. :)

Obama's critics keep making false statements and forcing me to defend him. I personally would rather see someone else with the democrat nomination, almost anyone else really. GOP is certainly becoming synonymous with imbecile.
