I am really disappointed in Romney because not only did he fumble that question in the debate 5 days ago but he fumbled it again last night.
He could have come up with a much better response but he doesnt even seem to be thinking about it. That is a glaring error in his campaign.
Ron Paul said he will NOT release his tax returns in the debate last night. Again, Why not?
Romney said he will release some of his in April. Stupid move IMO but he is probably really worried about even getting the nomination at this point.

I was trolling RP in 2 threads but I am serious about this, it doesnt look good. Now, there is no legal reason why RP is required to release them but it calls into question his financial situation.

There are things you legally have to disclose as a public figure. These include your investments, etc. I am not up on the exact law.
However, you are not legally required to submit your tax returns for examination. And apparently, Ron has chosen not to and only Santorum( who will be shortly gone) is the other candidate who will not.
Maybe they both know they wont win? No sense disclosing it if there is no benefit.

Well, he did say he will release it if he is the nominee. Last night he was asked specifically if he will release it before he is the nominee which he declined just like all the other candidates. They ALL declined to release before the GOP race is over.

We should still scrutinize the candidates unscrupulously. How is RP going to look if people keep on him about it and he gives in and reveals that he is as straight as a grizzly's dick, kind of like how Obama's birth record thing ended up just making his critics look stupid. Then again we could find out he donated to the KKK.

Well it is a mystery because they all declined to release them before the GOP election is over.
As far as in the general, Mitt romney is the only MAYBE, the rest all agreed they would during the General.

Yeah, that only covers investments.
There is not income figures in that declaration, no net worth figures in that declaration, etc.

Yes this combined with the fact that he decided to wear a white shirt to the debates have made me re-think my vote, why did he wear a white shirt just like everyone else? I am flabbergasted! HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE DIFFERENT! <end sarcasim>
