It was actually. Ceilings are big and thin, and keeping a good grip on them is so hard. Ever wrestle a 4x8 sheet of plywood in a breeze? I cannot recommend that, especially in a parking lot full of someone else's German iron. cn

Lol, I've busted a few foam boards because of gusts. Thats another tip I picked up along the way, buy a 1" foam insulation board, lay it on the floor and cut your full 4x8 of whatever on top of the foam. Way easier and safer if you don't have a badass tablesaw.

When i had a house of my own, I built a saw table out of a 4x8 sheet of plywood and this lovely legs&braces system held together with stainless-steel machine screws. I lightly glued a 1/2" styrofoam board to the top, and could rip 4x8 sheets of anything with my Skilsaw and these lovely adjust-a-clamp fences. Zero worries about getting the cut depth just so. And the table nmade it so that I could do the whole cut walking with my back straight!
Made prepping pieces for the actual table saw a snap. I miss that house and all that went with it ... except the neighborhood. cn

If your gonna repair your wall using mud(plaster) your better off doing it the right way and using 3 coats. The mud shrinks so one doesnt cut it. Your last coat will be a thin skim coat. Also a tip I have heard from quite a few painters, they like to leave some dust on the wall from they first prime the room.

if you havent picked up the primer yet i suggest checking out kilz really great stuff started using it and never turned back

lol im a jack of all trades so to say i can strip and wax floors , lay floors , do electrical work, do walls, drop ceilings , do it all

So leave the dust or no? I didn't plan on going all out with a vacuum hose with the brush attachment or anything, just a quick sweep of the walls before primer.

Anyway probably going to get the drywall sealer for the damaged parts and do that this weekend, then have the walls fully mudded and ready to prime by next weekend.

again a wall whipe is all you need to do

nothing more

you dont need to gather all the folicles and particles of the wall with a microscope

just a barely damp rag whipe down will do the job

Does the government know your working if you are claiming disability? Just asking, not judging. I know around here being on disability and working under the table jobs is stealing from the government. I just wanted to know. I am not trying to start another argument either!
