so in some bad news, my ggrandmother was diagnosed with brain cancer, she has 2 tumors about the size of nickels that they cant remove because of placement, so i guess the help im looking for is any info (websites,books,ect...) with any information on helping take care of a brain cancer patient. thanks ahead of time.

just make sure she is pain free and believe me please visit or send someone you know who will make it to her place. being alone and stuck in a house is the worst.

yeah i dont live to far from her so most of my family is always with her now a days, she was just diagnosed a few days ago, she should be out of the hospital by tomoro, because they believe the tumors gave her a stroke , but she had somehow fallen at her house and hit her face on the end of a table and almost bit her tongue in half. but now she is in pretty decent shape, up walking around some, talking legibly and as she was before for the most part.

http://www.michigancannabispatients.com/Forum/ The guy who owns that site is really helpful. If you posted in the medical area of his forum he could help you out. His name is malamute, if you don't like dogs, fake it. Good luck, I hope your grandma comes through.

thank you, as for the recovery part, i hate to be bleek but they gave her up to 3 years being optomistic, after some research that ive done, most patients with her same type of brain cancer make it up to a year depending on how bad of a case it is. but thanks for caring :)

You should probably make your own thread for this instead of hijacking his gramma thread. To answer, no two weeks back under 18/6 isn't going to help you. They're pretty much done for, unless you want to out them back into veg long enough to get some cuttings to start over.

My grandma was diagnosed with severe Parkinsons and they gave her 6-8 years tops back then. That stubborn woman willed herself 20 more years on this planet. Be strong for her, in a way lend her your strength. It is going to hurt seeing her slowly go, but never give in. Be strong and in turn be the thing she relies on for a little bit or normalcy in her life.

glad your grandmother has been going so long, sounds like a very strong woman, and i plan on helping my grandmother and being there for her whenever she needs me, the only conflict between me and her is her die hard christian views, and my almost non existant religious views, lol.

Endure that graciously. Only advice I have. cn
its one of the things ill have to work at the hardest, she called me today asking for prayers, and im in another state for my anniversary and i couldnt deny her on the phone, but how do you pray to something you dont believe in? especially when it means so much to them and others around her...
