Really? We are going to defend Ron Paul saying church and state shouldn't be separate now?

Wow. You guys will literally defend ANYTHING regardless of what he says. If Romney or Obama would have said the exact same thing you guys would be having seizures right now. But since Ron Paul says it, you agree.

Yeah.... You guys are really thinking for yourselves....

If you're wondering why I call you guys cultists, let this be exhibition A.
1. you obviously don't understand the quote.
2. Nobody cares why you call us cult members.
3. You are the dumbest person on these forums.
4. I am going to speak in a numerical bullet point fashion from now on.

Does he support usury? He supports if you borrow money you should be prepared to pay whatever interest is charged. Its your responsibility not the states.
he supports a totally free market, and usury occurs in a totally free market.

while some people may want to pass laws keeping the most vulnerable among us from being exploited, ronald the millionaire has no such qualms.

Instead of seeing the seperation of church and state, we have this interwoven position where religion plays heavily on politics. Like it or not its true, This statement shows you where we have differed from our path, we're very anti-anti-american or.. (american.. lol). But when talking about the state and religion. Ron Paul argues that state should be relatively small, so the real issues of abortion and drugs are controlled by morality.
yes, i would just so love for the local church controls my wife's uterus instead of my wife. that would be so splendid.

ronald the millionaire got a chance to try out his philosophy in real life, where he let his staffers depend on private charity and churches if they got sick. it didn't work out that well. kent snyder died and they were only able to raise about 10% of his total medical bills.

Jersey Shore... does anyone watch that crap, I can't stand it, I thought only teenage/college girls watched it. If anything the show he would watch all day is american dad, or family guy. He seems like the kind of guy to appreciate cartoons.

Another set of UB fails.. ;)
you seem to think ronald the millionaire would be watching family guy, and you accuse me of fail?

Why do crazy christians always think that morality is only define by religion?
Because the bible says so. The bible is the word of god, it says so right in the bible, therefor it's a proven fact. Case closed. Now get to church.

Usery can be offered in a free market but nobody is forced to choose it.
usury shouldn't exist. it is an unscrupulous practice whereby the greedy prey on the vulnerable. slicked back hair people convince desperate people to get entangled in the web. not everyone understands every financial decision they are faced with.

usury should be taken off the table.

So you're going to now accept it as fact that christianity is the official religion of the united states just because Ron Paul says it's cool?

I can almost understand people who agree with every single one of Ron Paul's libertarian positions. I disagree with it, but I get where they are coming from. I think it's an extremist point of view, but it's a consistent logical one. I think it's wrong, but I understand how that makes sense.

But Ron Paul's views on religion are in no way a libertarian position. They are the views of an authoritarian. He's to the authoritarian end of the spectrum in comparison to Obama, Gingrich, even Romney. At least those guys believe in the separation of church and state.

This is what separates people who supporting Ron Paul because they are libertarians from people who have fallen in love with the cult of personality.

uh oh! Now you've got a problem.

Are you going to support the Ron Paul who thinks religion is a private matter, or are you going to support the Ron Paul that says America is a christian nation?

Either way you'd have to disagree with Ron Paul! Is that going to make your head explode?

Usury is free will. I am for clear lending standards but no limit on interest.

So apparently Ron Paul's quotes on separation of church and state caused a fuse to blow in your head and now you're just going to pretend it never happened? I see.

Nope. I'm just done explaining things to you since you are too close minded to understand or listen to what people are saying.

I understand that Ron Paul thinks church and state are not separate and thinks America is a christian nation that tolerates other religions. What about that do you believe I'm misunderstanding?
