I was watching CNN newsroom at lunch today and John King thinks RP will only win ~200 delegates with Gingrich getting ~650 before Mitt seals the nomination June 5th. I thought RP would be getting more, like 600+ according to some people on these boards? In King's projections, RP only came in first place in Washington.

I thought RP would be getting more, like 600+ according to some people on these boards? In King's projections, RP only came in first place in Washington.

It seems that his numbers greatly increase when his campaign focuses on a state. In my opinion, projections don't work well with his campaign style because when he tours a state, super brochures are sent out, and his grassroots supporters get active his numbers go up. Time will tell though.

like lifegoesonbrah says the campaign is still making progress. We are on nevada right now with super brochures, everyone gets a super brochure.

The problem with John Kings projection is it is based right here and now, There is still a lot that can happen. Believe me I'd like to call it right now also and get this over with but wisely, I won't be making any such projection until February is over its still way too early to tell.

I would think we should all know better than to trust CNN projections by now.

Even knowing he won't carry Florida I still went and voted. My vote doesn't matter today. I still went and voted.. why? It is the right thing to do. Everyone vote. Every vote, whether we win or lose, puts us a little closer to the world we want to live in.
