Blue Dream in Coco. 12x6, 2x1000 HPS

So the og plants starting to show signs of sex, alot of hairs on it. The church has descent preflowers on them, and also the blue dreams are about to show their pre flowers showing a lot of hairs also. Last time it took about 3 weeks for descent preflowers on the blue dreams, guessing it has to do with it's length of flowering time. Today is day 9 into flower. Not including the 48 hour dark period. I need to get my other rooms up so I can do perpetual harvests with the flip boxes!

Ok so it's week 3 day 1 (day15) and as promised on my last thread I'll be doing a side by side trial with my girls. 10 of them will be using my normal recipe, the other one I will be replacing one love with Moab. Moab is about 2.5x more exspensive then one love. So basically I'm going to see if theirs a difference in yield, 10 vs 10. I honestly don't think I'll see a huge difference if any. Reason being is that if you look at the ingredients of Moab and one love they are very similar, except Moab has b1 to help the plant absorb the higher dosage rather then shocking. So what I normally do is throw in a hit of superthrive, but I just got a bottle of straight b1 so I'll be replacing superthrive with that, reason being again lol, that it can cause pyrethrum in my resi. I also took out the 6 churches in my flower room because it's taking up space for the more important blue dreams. Their 2 weeks into flower and have nice preflowers but idk what I'ma do with them. Probably hold a raffle an give em away lol. Also I transplanted all 47 clones into little cups with coco. All of the clones rooted and lived, that's another set of 100% success lol. The 2 church mothers are Doug super good an healthy along with the chem dawg, master Kush, and dj shorts blue berry. The blue dream mother is getting pretty nice too, almost forgot her lol. I'll be picking out the strongest of cut and I'll be keeping that as my mother. I'll post pictures soon.

Ok so I was in the room today lookin at the girls, their super health and shit. Most of the gnats seem to have disappeared also. But I did notice root aphids. This is why I prefer hydroponics all day. Never have to worry about all this bull shot. I read a thread where heisenberg commented and said you could use bayers advanced to get rid of them, so I'ma hop on that ASAP tomorrow and try to kill them all. Along with that I'll be adding upping the amount I water them but cut the amount of feedings. I normally feed them 1 1/2 cups a day but I'ma start doing 3 every 2 days to hopefully cut back on the risk of those root aphids. They prefer wet medium which I got lol. I think that I still got them from the chemdawg mother. Mainly ecause she was in soil when I got her verses everything else that wasnt. Im thinking about cuttin mad clones and startin over off her. Shits gonna start irritating me if it affects the plants :/

Yeah I couldn't help myself so I got myself some ortho spray, it's good on flowers vegetables and fruits and kills aphids. Ima do a mad spray down and clean up right now under the burning lamps lol. According to it, you can spray it during the day but I'm only spraying the soil not the plant itself. Then tomorrow the hunt is on for the bayer advanced. The guy on collectives thread said he used in his resi which would be absolutely perfect for me!

I'm going to agree that adding another 1000 would be a good idea, if you have adequite venting. I'm not sure if it will up or down your GPW, but I figure with all the other expenses that go into this youd be waisting money not to throw another 1000 in there. Its a pretty big space.

I'm curious how you get around in there when you need to water? seems like it would be a tricky job. Also where does the runoff water go? these are issues I've had to deal with in my own grow.

I'm going to wait on adding the thousand only because they caught a case of the aphids. The draining actually doesnt matter because I don't over feed, im only giving them a cup and a half of water per day so it's not enough to make it leak. I may up it to 2 cups or 2 1/2 just in case lol. When I water I pull out one set 4 pots down since it's 4x5 if I pull put 4 pots I can water everything then just place everything back in like nothing happened.

How will you pull them out when the trellis is full?
Ive heard of this no draining technique before. Could you tell me what your maximum EC is? I don't want to go 100% no drain, but maybe less drainage, something like 5%. It just makes sense really if you can get away with using less feed water and using it at a lower strength, you can save a ton of money

At the peek I'll be doing something like 1500 for my ppms I think that's what you mean by ec? Then every Sunday I do just water to kinda absorb leftovers from the week. I don't have the trellis on anymore aswell I think there's an updated picture with the stakes on now instead of the trellis. Trellis was during veg only. Because they were super small an easy to manipulate. I'll post new pictures i know people are interested in the update.

wow that is some intense ppm's! especially with no runoff. Do you know if that is the .5 conversion or the .7 conversion?
Have you done this with coco in the past? I'm really surprized to hear such a high ppm. I may raise my ppm's now after hearing that. But it seems everyone does something totally different so its hard to know

1 and 2 pictures are of all the clones, mix of blue dream and og, only 7 og's though lol. reason being out of the 7 I will keep the strongest and dump the rest, and I'm testing out the strain right now to see if it's worthy of keeping a spot in my garden lol. Honestly I think I'ma dump the church completely. lol
Ok so the third one is the main one in the picture is the master kush purple pheno this will probably be my main runner. When it's fully mothered out.
also behind the small one(masterkush) is the chem dawg mother, I'm drying out all the coco purposly to try to kill off everything that may be in the coco. fuckin bs..
4th is the dj shorts blueberry with bluedream to the left then 2 church mothers in the back. the 5th is the og that I'm doing a test run with. short but sweet a 2'er lol. the 6th is an over view kinda. 7th is a view of the branchieness or whatever you wanna call it lol. then last is the top nug shot of the flowers. This strains normaly 10 weeks so these preflowers for me is pretty good at this time. I think it was actually faster then my last run.

To be honest I keep on gettin it mixed up I'm pretty sure it's the .5 though I'ma have to look at the meter again. I'll be upping the amount of water they are fed daily also. Probaly up to 3 cups now that I think about it I feel like I'm starving these girls a little bit. I've been planning on buying saucers for each bucket but I just now proped them all up on another bucket so their all up atleast another inch from the ground, should be decent enough for drainage. I've always ran it that high. In fact my last run peeked at 1700 only for a day though.
