You should totally read the book. It's funny as hell. And an easy read. It's actually the first one I've read in probably 4 or 5 years. Anyways, definitely worth a look if you like the show.

I'll have to check that one out. I love British TV show, much more highbrow humor than American shows. Doc Martin is my fav. I watch Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, just because of how terrible of a train wreck it is.
American humor is just...family friendly now, and it took the "real" out...

I have Seasons 1, 2 & 3 now. So thought I would bring this thread back while I'm watching it. If you haven't seen this series, you should watch it. The first season is the 7 wonders of the world, the second season is just some cool shit. And season three is him traveling with a midget that wants to make him suffer.

Karl is AWESOME! Too bad they can't get him to do a third season.
A third season would be great, they could have Karl traveling across America in an RV.... ROAD TRIP!
There is plenty of bizarre areas in this country for Karl to entertain us!
They got him to do a 3rd season, but that is some true shit. He should travel across America. The best places to go would be: New York, Miami (South Beach to Goulds), Atlanta (During Spring Break would be best, for Freaknik) , New Orleans (During Mardi Gras would be best), Dallas/Ft Worth and the panhandle, Roswell, Denver/Boulder, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Diego, LA (Hollywood), San Francisco.

And also, if you haven't seen the series "Life's too short" it's great also. It's about the same midget that travels with him in series three, but they do skits with people like Johnny Depp and Liam Neilson.

Something I noticed while watching this. The 7 wonders of the world... None of them are in the US. 3 of them are in Mexico and South America, then 4 on the other side of the world. Strange that Mexican Indians, Peruvian Indians, and Brazilian Christians were able to build such amazing things, while America just has like sky scrapers, the st Louis arch and a statue we got from France.

I only have one or two more episodes left in season one. In the one I'm watching now he's going to Petra and has to stay in a cave. They stopped in Israel and the Jewish military is crazy looking. It's like the Mexican federale, just hanging out in the streets with huge guns. There is straight up a "Berlin Wall" between Israel and the Palestinians. It's crazy.

The India episode is awesome, I really want to go to India for Holi Day.
I'm sure you can get a job there at one of the thousands of sweatshops where they train people to 'right' English in such a way that it is supposed to look like a regular forum or blog post. While in reality it's just spam.

I'm pretty sure if I lived in India I could do something WAY more profitable, like selling their cheap ass jewelry in on Ebay in America.

The first episode of season two has SOOO much stuff in it. The first season showed him sleeping and stuff, this one doesn't show him at night, so I'm thinking he got some better accommodations in season 2. But he's already seen like 5 tribes just in one episode. It would be kinda cool to stay on a deserted island like he did for like a week or so. As long as there was food, or fishing equipment.

Season 2 is definitely better than season one. Each episode has WAY more stuff in it than season one did. He traveled 1/3 the length of the Earth in episode 2.
