My Audi drives better in the snow than my H3..go figure. They both are great cars in the snow tho. I love when people are going 20 in a 40 and i just blow past them hehe
I love it when I'm driving 15-20 Miles an hour and have some asshat pass me just so I can watch him go off in the dingweeds cause they couldn't stop... Cracks me up every time cause their usually Flat Landers or 20 some olds late for class....

I love my '87 ranger. Lock it in and climb a wall, ice or no, and snow is just glorified rain....

I always had a front wheel drive car and never had too many problems in the snow. This is my first winter with my truck, and RWD is a million times worse than FWD. But the 4x4 option tears it up.

I like the snow I hate the ice, don't know how maney times I have passed people with 4x4 in the ditch driving fast on ice WTF.

I have a new Hemi 4x4 with 18's and I have not gotten stuck this year, but the snow has not been that bad so far. I have a 1998 k1500 4x4 Z71 full jam stepside with a 383 stroker in it, but try not to drive her in the winter, to hard on the headers and the HO 383. I put 489,000 km on it and never ever got stuck in snow or mud.

But for real fun I drive the 09 Evo but even that is not a sure thing, Last month my son was driving home in a snow storm and drove it off the road at 80k, CALLED ME UP AND SAID IT ONLY HAD 2 FLAT TIRES. Well we get it back today and the damage was 13,000 yes that's right $13,000.00, "O well" just shows you can have the best equipment and still screw it up LOL

my car drives considerably better in the snow than my truck. might have something to do with the car being front wheel drive with snow tires and the truck being a 92 s-10 RWD with almost bald tires though.

If my jimmy were running it would be a monster. 4WD, big snow tires, extra weight of subs right over the rear axle..... but it just sits in the yard :(

i would like to personally shoot every individual who drives in the snow when they don't know how.

going up a snowy hill, you need something called "momentum". these stupid fucks drive so fucking slow that the momentum runs out and they come to a stop. so what do they do? they sit there and spin their tires for 5 minutes like a fucking moron instead of backing down the hill and trying again with MOMENTUM. (bonus points if they blow their motor) so now everyone else on that hill either had to come to a stop (so now THEY'RE stuck), or try to go around the idiot and narrowly miss oncoming traffic, creating even more of a hazard.

way too many people don't know how to steer a skid. they slam on the brakes like a retard and do a couple of 360s and smash into all sorts of shit. people, when you skid, get the fuck off the brakes and STEER. steer INTO the skid. it's counter intuitive but it's what needs to be done to straighten out the car's ass end.

if you don't understand these things please stay the fuck home.

my favorite part? ALWAYS an out of state plate

Everything Total states!

As i say, i live at the top of VERY steep roads. Despite the polie officially closing one of the key roads home, i went up it anyway, i kept a steady speed so as not to lose traction, 20 meters from the top i ended up having to stop for some twat who was sat spinning his tires, he jumps out and tells me to go aroun, biut late for that, i'm then stopped and can do ntohing but spin my wheels, he even thought it clever to get behind my car and try and rock it, on a steep hill, into gaining traction from a standstill. I told him to get back in his car stop being stupid, reversed down to the bottom and took a different route home. If you are incapable of driving in the snow and ice, don't, stop putting everyone else at harms way or at an inconvenience.

In the UK it's even more annoying in that we so rarely get real cold wheather, than when we do get it, 99.99% of the population turn into fucking retards. If i were a policeman, i'd arrest every one of them for having no control of their vehicle, but the kicker i even the police are incapale of driving in snow, they do exactly the same as the rest of the drivers tuck on hill, act like bloody morons.

TTT... you should carry a bag of cat litter in the boot next time that happens just spread it around your intended path and drive around the sucker leaveing him/her to try reverse onto your now grippy snow.. trust me works every time.

There are grit buckets all over the place, i shuldn't have to, society is fucked up enough though that everyone just goes around stealing it all so they can grit their driveways and paths. Yet at the same time while i was stuck on that hill, a bunch of random 10 year olds ran off with their sled and gathered all they could find and brought it over on their sled, so maybe not all hope is lost, but the hills are steep enough that grit makes no difference once you've stopped. I should not have to carry grit around in my car because other people are incapable of driving, i wuld have gotten up that hill just fine. driving license requirements in the UK are utterly ridiculous, when i took my test, all tha was required was to drive around and then complete 2 of 4 specific manouvers, the 3 being 1. An emergency stop, 2. reersing around a corner, 3. parallel parking, 4. bay parking. Now they are trying to change it to just having to complete 1 of the 4. If you ask me, it's all so they can get ore accidents so they can raise insurance furhter (UK insurance rates are INSANE) and as such the governemnt can get more money from each poliy sold.

I know where your comeing from dude, its same here i drive a rwd drifty machine, people always drive like ass`s even in the good weather when you come up behind them in it, were not so lucky with the grit tho as i live in the countryside the gritter itself never gets out here so its a needs must thing as far as carrying it...

Haha I hate driving in the snow in my car that is!

Now my ATV, that sounds fun!
Haha, my old workplace, the one with the dumb blond and her BWM, was tucked away in the hills and the lakes, there was a local guy that always used to rokc up in the snow and ice in his quad, drifting all ove rthe place and such in complete control. We'd all comment on what a dick he was when he drifted out of the carpark onto the road and home with half a pig tied to the back of the thing, the reality being we were all just jealous as fuck
