you use butane on buds? thats a sin. if you use buds, co2 or naphtha is the solvent you want to use. but the purging method is nothing like just evaporating the solvent off. so water is used to kick out the last residuals in that oily residue. just half a cap of a 2 liter bottle is what we use to cause the reaction.
the taste is like nothing, it has no smell, this is a solid at room temperature. and thats where people are misled. just cause an oil is dark, but this is not oil,wax, but a solid crystalline. if an oil is light coloured, it doesnt mean really anything. if the oil is dark amber coloured it to me means it is rich in cannabiniods. this wasnt an accident, and i will strive to lighten up the batches in the future, but havent seen anyone glass up pot. ive only heard about it. but these are chiselz my nizzal.
i dont know what makes you think that whipping takes away taste, i think it makes it taste better what proof is there that it breaks terpenes down. if terpenes are what cause it to smell and my wax is super stanky just like the flowers but more intense and taste delicious. wax is a more refined and purer oil. any little ten year old can make oil in there bedroom ha
Would you agree that whipped bho smells a lot more than a stable oil? Why is that? Because all of the terpenes are being released. Of course it will still have flavor. But after a while it loses it's fresh taste. You saying wax is a more refined and purer oil is just silly. Some waxes are better some are worse.

there is no proof. and i believe cannabis, hash and extractions get better with age and time.
