If you only had one thread why worry as many people have lost a ton of info including me and yes its possible to happen again but i dont know. I lost 420 posts and thats all i had and is all gone.

Honestly, I'm not that mad about the hack itself. That can happen. As long as they kept the forum software updated they were doing their job.

The old backup does show their lazyness, or lack of expertise, though. There's no reason for them not to do at least a weekly backup. Heck you can set up a cron job and not worry about it again.

I don't know much about that sort of thing . Maybe they're just short handed .
