Light bulb vaporizer vs this vaporizer(picture)

Hi!
I was wondering. Are light bulb vaporizers as efficient as joint/pipes/bongs ? Because i'd like to go as healthy as posible!
And now to the main question : What the f^$k is this(look at attached picture) ? They advertize it on the site as a vaporizer, but it def doesn't look like one, and neither is it a pipe.
They say to use it you put alcohol/water and "tobacco" in it, but i asume they can't say weed/illegal drugs (xd) in it (all other paraphenalia they sell they say it's intended for tobacco)
Could i just put weed in it put a windproof lighter in it and suck till it get vaporized and i get into a better state ?
The stupid hole on the bulb makes it seem not like a vape.
it looks so sweet, but i dont want to throw 6 euros+ transport on something i end up throwing.
Any input would be greatly apreciated.

if its supposed to mimic a lightbulb vape you put the weed inside, heat up the glass from the outside gradually, inhale the vapors and dont let it get too hot. Is that a hole in the front or just an outline/indent?

edit: saw your first question, they work, but they arent as effecient/controllable as a real vape, ide just bowl it

i don't understand neither. If it's a hole, the vapor will escape through there OR you have to constatly suck through it. Never seed one of these anywhere so i was wondering if you guys have any experience with them.

That's what i was thinking you had to do...
Is it any good? or am i wasting my precious, hard-earned, not-tree-growing money ?

I don't personally have one but I assume it works as well as a light bulb.

Well I would say it is just another way to smoke...just keeps the flame from touching the weed...so you dont get burnt weed you get heated or vaporized weed...the issue with this is that it will burn the weed...just like anything else that uses a lighter or a flame....so indeed you could smoke out of that with little trouble or you could smoke with a J or a bong, or a blunt...it is all the same in the end..

probably tricky to get the temp just right
maybe on a stand and a heat source that is always the same would give you consistent results
could be frustrating, still, nice price for getting started with vaping

What do you mean by constant heat source ? Does ut matrer if the temp varies throughout vaping? Sorry fr being such a noobs

The problem with cheap vapes is that they can't accurately control temps. Vaporization happens in a narrow temperature range. If not hot enough all you get is a little water vapor. If too hot you are burning it like in any other pipe. I don't think you can get a good vape for under $100, maybe more like $150. They are pricey but much more efficient. I use much less weed than I used to which is ironic because I have more than I need.

My advice - save up or sell some weed or whatever, but pay the money and get a good one. IMO, Da Buddah is the best vape value on the market.

lmao.Looks like something people smoke crystal out of. Put the product in bowl and light underneath till it melts and smokes, also used for concentrates (wax, oils, etc.) the hole is on top for air to pass through. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT FOR WEED.

the more constant the temp, the better the vaping result
if you're using a lighter(or something similar) and free handing, then i'd think it's more like a prior poster mentioned, more burning than vaping
but if it's some stable setup, and the heat applied is just right, maybe a lighter at a fixed distance, it might be a fair vape
that may be optimistic, just a guess
