Better than mollases?

I use the bat guano and bud and bloom formula by them and had the best results over any other product. I just found out they have this "metobolic transformer" product that seems to be a heavy food sustanace for your soil microbes, much more ingredients and symbiotic products than just mollasas...i have the money and i do want to grow the best that i can. I want to no if any one has ever used this product or have any thoughts to this product:?

How much is this 1lb jar of goodness?

I mean, Dr Earth is good stuff and all and it has all those *exotic* ingredients like 'virgin Kentucky blackstrap molasses' and all. But, most of the other stuff stuff I already have and use in my mix and teas.

Anyway, my 1 gallon of Hi Brix molasses cost $8 and weighs 11.5 lbs. Feeds the microbes just fine. All I'm asking is, is this stuff so much better to justify the cost difference?

Wetdog....Thats why i put this thread up, i was wondering if that jar was worth the money it cost (which i have no idea how much it is lol) Bcuz i use mollases but none of the other stuff n that mix, and ive always known Dr. Earth to be fair with the prices they have compared to the ingredients they use...pluss its basicly everything u need to start and feed a real healthy soil ecosystem. And instead of scarping each material it comes all in one...and seems to be very concentrated probably need a teaspoon at a time maybe once every two weeks, just to add new microbes into the soil, while still using mollases to feed em....

so i am getting this and well see if i notice differences

i see some flaws with it as it feeds cytokins, to root system which is makes it pretty much irrelevant. for the cost of this product i could probably buy half of my compost tea ingredients but if you bought all my ingredients you would probably have 3x as much and 3x as long. rock phosphate they are using is P fertilizer it works better as a K nute(from the proper rock phosphate ex. greensand), brown rice is good shit to cultivate fungi so is oats depends on how you take care of what i call the "scum bag" i preserve mine and its FUZZY when it goes in the water. brown rice oat wheat and alpha alpha are good for this. lots of protein and amino acids, i see humic/fulvic acids to elp with hormone up take all in all it looks like some good shit but you would still need molasses to encourage small sugar eating microbes involved with nitrogen fixation.

Turns out my local nursery carries this product. They also make their own black forest soil conditioner that is much cheaper, and probably better suited to my growing conditions.

Then again, molasses and worm castings seem to be doing just fine.

Polyarcturus...Yeah i already have a good source of of all the NPK and micronutrient ferts. I only grow maybe 2 plant 4 max medicinally for my self, and its more of a hobby type grow, trying to figure out a way to grow the best plant, rather than to grow the biggest yield from a bunch of plants...so i could spend 50 bucks for myself, and prob last a little longer, and im not really counting how much dollars each gram cost...i do want big yields, best plants, for my self...and if i get every raw ingrediant shit will last for my life lol..... and yeah i figgured out u still need mollases, this is more of a life starter in the soil

all i no is it seems like barely anymone uses this, and i always love going from the norm to try new things...rather than using only Fox Farm, Or cana nutes...so my next grow ill be experementing with this maybe my blooms will boost double

Sometimes I compare growing to playing golf. Some people spend $$$ on the best clubs and don't beat their partners who use the cheap sets.

Yeah, having a set of Pings will not make you Tiger Woods.

You really can't spend your way into a good grow without the experience.

wetdog i saw in another forum that u use dr earth....and i am also a big big fan of dr earth,

so im just testing what else he has, and i use from all different brands, the ones i trust...thats the experience to me testing wat works for me rather than what everyone else uses

Cool product. Different sources of carbs, seaweed, kelp, bacteria, fungus. Amino acids, bone meal, rock phosphate, yucca, humic, worm castings. Its like organic jump start in a can. I do a lot of these additives myself in soil mixes but it sounds like a cool supplement to keep things going along. I'd do a side by side, would be neat.

Um, it has some great stuff in it but I prefer not to add too many random microorganisms as the microorganism herd that is in the soil could be at conflict with it. On the other hand it could be great for the soil / situation you are currently in, so, it's up to you. Everything else in there I'd feed to my plants in a heartbeat.

All of you good people please don't take offense, but I find it a curious thing that we (typically guys) are always looking for a commercial product that we can buy. Growing weed can be the cheapest thing in the world but we want to buy all sorts of things with cool labels and big ingredient lists.

We've all done this, certainly I have.

i see what you mean. when i first started last year i was amazed at what i thought i needed and that what happened when you walk in a hydro store and ask them what you need. I think a lot of those commercial products are only in existance to make a dollar. Synthetics aren't necessary for cannabis but like anything, going organic requires some schooling. Innovative, new organic products will continue to come around but nothing beats having a great understanding of the basics - soil biology, growing environment, foliar feeding, nutrient update. Its quite easy to go overboard in any of these areas but i try to KISS (keep it simple, stupid). What kills me is the feeling to master everything in one grow - starting to forget about this and learn as I go. Thanks to veteran growers here @ R.I.P. I believe I'm doing much better.
