Very sorry to hear about your bud Shane.

I was in the smoke shop tonight picking up a new bowl and saw a young guy buying some of that crap!

I should have spoken up. Very sad. :-(
!

That is very scary and I am sorry for the loss of your friend. I have smoked Damiana, got little or no effect at all. I smoked some shit called marshmallow weed and thought I was gonna die. I totally agree, if your need to get high is such that you cannot go without it to the point of smoking chemically engineered shit just to get a 'placebo' then you have other issues going on. Keep it natural boys and girls, Mother Ganja has killed no one and never will.

I wont ever smoke it again, it gave me a seizure. It was all bad from the start, and it wasnt too unhealthy to begin with at first I dont think(except for some people) but now who the fuck knows whats in there its not just synthetic cannabanoids anymore. Its something evil.

I hope you are okay, and may he rest in peace :'(

Man, fuck that shit.

I tried it for a few days a couple years ago because we had no buds and wanted SOMETHING...

I stopped using it because I would wake up the morning after feeling like I had been smoking turpentine... YET I STILL WANTED TO SMOKE MORE OF IT... seriously fucked up shit. I smoked more the last morning and nearly seizured while dry heaving after puking up everything I ate that morning. (All I ate was fresh watermelon that others also ate and had no problem keeping down) --I kept heaving for over a halfhour after I emptied my stomach. It was VERY resemblant to alcohol poisoning.

Never touched it again.

Shit is straight dangerous, I do not doubt it at all.

P.S. I am sorry for your loss. I hope that people will wake up and stop touching this stuff.

I smoked this mad hatter spice with one of my buddies and his dad once. His dad said he hated it, yet one time my friend told me that his mom found mad hatter in his pants because she was worried about him for screaming and yelling that he was gonna take her and the kids far far away.. She didn't know whether to call the hospital or not. But he told her he was really drunk, obviously she didnt fall for it and searched his shit.

We were like yeppppp thats mad hatter. If youve ever smoked that one in specific its pretty crazy

^ no it's not. now it's a shitload of other chemicals... jwh-018 was harmless compared to what they use now.
the name K2/Spice (which is a specific brand name) gets thrown around a lot when there are so many other brands of this shit out there.

i made a thread back in february about trying it and how horrible it was.

just went and checked the website that the stuff i smoked was from.. it's shut down now.

Perhaps my info is obsolete. I did notice that JWH-018 is now in Schedule 1. cn

yeah it was banned all over the place at the beginning of last year, so then they started using different/more dangerous chemicals.

read that link i posted. it just shows how much they don't give a fuck about the people who buy it...
these people are sitting back and laughing at the dumbasses that buy this shit and make them money.

i hear the chemicals are powdered form and mixed with acetone and then sprayed directly on random dried herbs. there's no fancy laboratory, no scientists... just average joes making/packaging/selling.

"Spice, herbal incense, and potpourri as we know them is coming to an end in Florida. But new products are already in production and will be available to our wholesale accounts next week."

"
When we get the site back up and running, we will have new products available that do not violate the Florida state ban. We will also be introducing some other very exciting types of products that we know you are going to love. Stay tuned by checking back each day"

I found this chart on the 'Pedia. Synthetic cannabinoid-oids found in "spices" fall into two classes: the 3-α-naphthoylindoles, which are dead easy to prep, and the tetrahydrobiphenyls, of which good ol' THC is the natural archetype. cn
