I start off with my bucket that is ready for plant, I add the RO water at 30ppm.

Add ProTeKt at 5ml per gallon.
Add grow/bloom per feeding schedule.
Add MagPro
Add Sweet
Add Aquashield
Add Voodoo

(this is vegatative) This gives me about 650ppm from 30-40 RO water, and I run this from seedling till flower. You have something either the plant, algea or something causing the negative ion shift at a rapid pace. My nutes start at 6.2 and float to 6.0 or tad under if I let them just go without ph up/down.

I have gallon jugs with premix 30% solution for topping off. I monitor the ppm as well to make sure I stay around 650-700 max mark. Any strain I throw at this loves it, so I know its good for variety of plants.

What's your feeding schedule tho? You got your clone with 1 root coming out going into your DWC. You do the same thing as above?

How much aquashield/sweet/voodoo is that? What happens the next day when it goes down 100 PPM. You do a 30% solution mix consisting of what? All 5 of those products or just grow? Or.. ? Every day you add pH water, or pH water and 30% nute solution?

I know I should already know the answers to these questions but I'm just trying to figure out what I'm doing differently compared to everyone else. So far nothing except for my PPM's are way lower than all others. Any higher and I burn. Maybe after roots are established I can try 200 again but they will just burn.

I would suggest reading and taking heed of several of the very good suggestions given to you to get back on track.

The whole reason why adding grow back burns them, is that your plants are eating certain nutes from your bucket and not others due to the PH swings! I am not familiar with the nute lineup you are using, but is there not more to it than just GROW? Is it a single bottle nute line? I doubt it! It honestly sounds to me like you are blindly mixing stuff and adding it to your buckets and this is only going to get worse doing it this way, not better. You should be feeding your plants based on what they are telling you.

Regardless of what you are saying about burning with anything over 300PPM is a joke as well. Your instruments are either not working correctly, or you are not reading them correctly.

All the suggestions are what I have always been doing though?? I don't understand. My dynagro is a 1 bottle line, yes. I use dynagro grow for grow and dynagro bloom for bloom. I use dyna gro protekt for the silica.

Okay.. So what do you suggest I do differently then? How am I mixing blindly? I add my protekt and grow just like everybody else.. I also add heisenbergs tea.

How is that a joke? I got pics to prove it and watch the video. There's a shitload of girls in there of all ages. I can upload more pics if you would like.

I started 5 plants off at 150 and they burned like hell and I think I put too much protekt (5ml per gal) so yeah, flushed them and it's been about 2 weeks and they are finally growing again.

My instruments are working fine, I've bought 4 different pH meters and 2 different PPM meters in paranoia since december.

Here is a pic 3 days ago. They only look bigger now. I set them at 300ppm last night, meaning they were down to 240 or so, so I took my water and put 350ppm dynagro bloom and dumped a gallon in and it set my water level right, ppm at 300, and pH at 5.8. Well water is 9.0 pH, should I pH it first? I don't because my bucket goes straight to 5.8 after I add the gallon of mix.

I just bought a new pH meter today, same milwaukee as posted before and I just calibrated my ppm meter. It was 22 off on the high end.

It just doesn't make sense man. I feed my seedlings 100+ ppm without issues, and clones that have rooted go into a DWC box that runs 300-400ppm! Vegging plants should be 500 and upwards.

Also, if you paid to get your water tested, then contact them and get the results. Without results, I would question if they tested anything and just took your $ and told you what you want to hear.

What do you think about this. All my clones are from my plants that I run straight FFOF soil with only water the entire grow for 2 years. Maybe these plants are more sensitive? Anything correlated here?

My PPM meter has 10 different settings. There's 4 ppm settings and 4 uS (? ? ? ) settings. uS or whatever I think is EC. The setting I am on right now is in the PPM mode. There's 4 modes which are like 442, NaCl, and 2 others that I could tell you if you want to know. I am using the PPM NaCl mode. Is this the right one to be using?

I have no clue. Reading the manual for the device would be the place to start. You are either not reading it properly or using the wrong settings. If you give the exact make and model, I can see what I come up with as well, but regardless, you should be reading the manual and get to know your device.

I have a NuTradip Tri-meter and the thing works flawlessly. I calibrated the other day(1st time in ~2 months) and it was still 99+% bang on.

Try the different settings on it and learn what they all say on the same nutrient soulution. Say you make up a batch at 100 ppm at the current setting, try the others, see what they say. Maybe one of the says 600 and thats the one you should be using.
I really really feel you are going to have to figure this out yourself, and you are going to be very careful and methodical about it, otherwise you will fight this problem indefinitely.

I think 90% of it is from RIU, usually for every good answer there is 10 horrible ones, 5 bad ones and one that doesn't even remotely relate to the question at all.
Now without knowing anything try to pick out the right one.

As you can see in the video, most my plants are growing nice and green. The ones on the far right in the veg room is 3 weeks from clone, about 25 inches. I'm not doing it all wrong... I have been working on the pH problems and I can figure it out myself, I just wanted to make this thread so I can ask all kinds of stupid questions so I can get a better idea of what everybody else is doing. The main thing i've been confused about is with my PPM going down by 100 every day, I don't know if I should add back 100ppm, leave it be, if add, then do I add protekt with it.. Confusing

There is no stupid questions brother, you seem smart enough to know what to believe, what to try and what not. Good luck just start with RO water, and go from there adding something each time and monitoring until you replicate or eradicate the problem.
