Sorry, but I'm voting for myself and I highly encourage others to do the same. Just like George Carlin says: 'If you vote for a scumbag politician and they get elected President then you have nobody to blame but yourself when they F&*!@ up the country even further.' Presidents are all the same douchebag, lying politicians anyways, so I'm voting for something more important that can actually start a trend AND make history...Legalization of Cannabis on the Colorado(& WA) ballots this Nov! Woot! Don't vote for 'change'. Diapers all get 'changed' and they all stink. Vote for legalization! MAKE IT HAPPEN IN 2012!

With the Republicans Vs the Democrats it's like having to choose between Dumb and Dumber tho, admit it UncleBuck, at this stage Obama is merely the lesser of two evils, but that doesn't mean you've to get down on your knees automatically for him tho.

Listen here sluggo, so have you or have you not heard of executive orders? The president can, at his discretion, implement by executive order the implementation of any rules over the agencies he is in charge of. The President can, if he CHOOSES, issue an executive order commanding the DEA to halt any raids on medical marijuana pharmacies or patients in states where it is legal. The President can, if he chooses, order the DEA and justice department to leave ALL drug enforcement beyond the borders up to the individual states. He sets the rules and priorities. He can not legalize it by his decree, but he can most certainly at any time ORDER those who work for him to stop harassing medical patients. He also can get rid of any person who is a political appointee, which would include the heads of FBI, DEA, Justice Dept, etc and appoint a person who will enforce his policies. For anybody to say that all this is going on without Obama's approval is incredibly ridiculous and simple denial. If you want to live in a total and complete fantasy world, I suggest you find a better place to do so you are not going to get much sympathy here. I'm not saying Obama created the drug war or started what is going on -- I'm saying his policies are anti-MJ for all uses and he has done NOTHING within his power to make any change whatsoever. He has continued exactly the drug war policies from those who went before him, Republican or Democrat. He's either a complete hypocrite and liar on the issue, or he actually believes in it but he's too much of a fucking pussy to risk his political neck taking a stand for it.

There is one named Ron Paul, but he's not good looking and charismatic and apparently 80% of americans want a candidate who will take away their freedom. We don't need a pro marijuana candidate. We need a pro-individual liberty candidate. That's not what either party wants though or apparently the american people. But then again one half of the country just wants the freedoms they want and wants to take from the other half what they don't like and the other half feels the same. We are constantly done in by our own perverse need to control others. Ruins a lot of marriages too :)

He's not the lesser of two evils. He is just a slightly different evil. Less evil than the republicans on some things, more evil on others. How did we get to the point in this country where the MINORITY of people in this country and political parties believe in actual freedom?
