nonsense.

they both believe it should be a state issue, but old ronald believes that life begins at conception and would love to see all 50 states enact bans if he is consistent with his own rhetoric.

gary johnson, on the other hand, believes that the woman has the right to choose up until the viability of the fetus.

no wonder you support ron paul, everything is muddled in your world.
I think murder is wrong and that murdering babies and "fetuses" is just as bad if not worse than murdering adults

Actually a "true libertarian" in the philosophical sense believes in the non initiation of aggression. Abortion could be construed as aggression.A "true libertarian" could be taking the side of a "third party", that being the entity being aborted, ie the unborn. Gary Johnson is far less evil than most of the douchebags and shit sandwiches presently being foisted on the public though...
I tried listening to five minutes of Johnson, and wanted to hang myself. I like R. Lee Wrights much better, even though pretty much all "Libertarians" are pussies and won't come out with anything other than, "it's a states rights issue, bitches!" And to Syncos, I call him a hill billy because he uses so many vocal segregates. He really sounds like he 's floundering and can't think of what he wants to say. Ala, Bush. Atleast Bush would say really funny shit when he got brain farts.

Wouldn't a "true libertarian" avoid the philosophical rat trap of misassigning personhood to "a smear of cells with ambitions"? cn

My point was that a true libertarian believes that to initiate aggression is wrong, defensive acts are acceptable. Some believe that the person getting an abortion is aggressing against another being. However I agree with your point that WHEN a smear of cells becomes a person is the relevant question. I confess that is no easy answer.

Nicely put. I agree that the answer isn't easy, as I refuse to submit to "revealed" doctrine of any stripe. cn

He doesn't sound like a country bumpkin with tons of vocal segregates. You pause and change subjects if you lose your train of thought. You don't make random noises. Bill Clinton was the master orator.

Now there's a man that would get this nation back in line. It was amazing what he did for New Mexico. He was the governor that instigated the Medical Marijuana program (Richardson implemented it), balanced the budget, Cut spending without sacrificing programs. No state employee lost his/her job due to his policies. He was a great governor.
A quote I found about him "Johnson's leadership during the fire was praised by Democratic Congressman Tom Udall, who said: "I think the real test of leadership is when you have circumstances like this. He's called on his reserves of energy and has just been a really excellent leader under very difficult circumstances here."
Anyone can run things when the going is good. When the sh*t hits the fan that's when true leadership emerges.

I never said that. I never gave causality to his abortion stance that I said is nearly identicle to Ron Paul. I'm mocking the fact you must be 100% pro-death to be Libertarian, which is why Unclebuck hates Ron Paul. I still stand by him being a redneck, which is separate from his "pro-choice" stance.
Libertarians are usually pro life or pro choice since they believe in property rights. Gary Johnson believes in abortion "until the viability of the fetus" so he is different than Ron Paul in that respect. Uncle buck is an idiot who doesn't know the facts. From the sounds of it, on this post, neither do you.

When Gary Johnson doesn't win, I am going to do the "I told you so dance".
Gary Johnson's followers aren't claiming a victory and insisting on it to the point of insanity when there isn't a snow ball's chance in hell. But do your dance boo-boo. Whatever makes you happy.

How many people here claimed to be libertarian are now going to downplay Gary Johnson?
