Here's a pic I found of G13 labs Auto AK Feminized on Attitudes website but not a whole lot of info on the strain. Anyways any info you got is welcomed thanx again and stay frosty!!

Newbie here, how long does it generally take for the roots to take hold after germination and for it to poke it's lil head out? Thx

It can poke its head out within 24 hours up to 2 weeks....

Do you start the germination in the rock wool or do something else first like the paper towel method? How soaked/wet should the rock wool be?

You can germinate any way you want...
Directly into soil, coco, rockwool, water,3% h2o2, paper towel, etc....

Just find a way that works best for you and stick with it... New seeds dont require pre-soak, older seeds will fair much better with one.

Rockwool should be Lightly Soaked, just damp... Not soaking wet....
But should be conditioned before use by soaking in rockwool conditioning solution, or ph'd water before use for ~10 min.... You can soak for longer if you want But it really isnt necessary.....

*dont let the rockwool dry out.

I would also scuff all seeds prior to germination... it only has to be done on seeds with a thicker shell.. But its easier to just scuff all seeds... This can be done by gluing a small piece of fine sandpaper to the inside of a matchbox.. and lightly shaking your seeds in there a few times prior to germinating them...

Its cool just a lil frustrated. There's thousands of people on here! This journals ben up what 2 days and I've got 254 viems and basically knowone trying to help or give feed back kinda sucks.

Jkahndb0 no advice for the guys who's grow journal this is? Not tring to be a dick but I get about 100 views a day. Kinda sucks when a lot of people come check it out see I'm asking questions and people are answering someone asking me questions. Just disapointing I've posted a lot on here mostly during the time that got hacked. But it seems to me like a lot of guys on here don't wanna help newbs. I've searched a lot on here and more then half the time I can't find wht I'm looking for. I ask questions then I'm asked like a child if I know how to use a search bar. Yes I do howerever I'm on a smart phone and I'm not techy. Took me forever to figure out I had to crop my pics and how to even do it so I could post'em on here. I thought threads and forums were for help and socializing but just like facebook or myspace there's internet bullies. I'm not saying you are but that this is what I've noticed on this site. Its hard for someone to start up everyone here knows this. So why give newbs a hard way to go or ignore them. I see a lot of first time gorower journals just like mine and if you ask a lot of questions people just look and leave. I'm not upset everyones not posting b I know people with experience have read this and they just don't care or something.
But hey ill just do me and if no one want to help out a lil that's cool but don't just come in my journal and be basically hijacking my shit.

On a better note I went in an hour ago to mist the dome for the night and noticed a half bent seedling sticking its head out figure by morning she'll be all the way through the top. Tomorrow if she is throught the top I'm starting her on 20/4! I'm super stoked!! Here's a pic of what I found! Temps before I opend the box were 88.9 degrees. So I misted the dome took a pic and closed her up again.

I asked about nutes coco perlite mixes. May not of been direct but I did ask for advice and tips pics whatever several times. I apologize though. I don't want bad blood with anyone. I'm not saying that to get your help I mean it. I also have another thread I made just for asking questions and got basically no help. You can use additives with the Lucas Formula...

However I do not recommend it.. Especially on the first run, with a new additive/nute line.. A new strain.. A new grower...
The GH series using the Lucas formulas is sufficient...

Usually distilled water form the store is at a higher PH than tap around mid ~7's.. They list the values on their websites....
Ive had them come at 7.7....

No distilled water doesn't have stabilizers like tap water so the PH will fluctuate over time.. If the nutes you add dont have stabilizers, then you'll be changing ph every couple days....

I would test it first, dont add any ph up or down.. and just add your nutes... Good nutes will balance out to a Good PH 5.8-6.4 and stay there for days....
This will also allow you to see where you need to be before you add your nutes, always add ph down before your nutes....

Right on what about the cal-mag plus and lucas formula?

The mix is what I'm not settled on. I hear a lot of people say good things about 100% coco and the same about 100% pelite. But the coco I'm gonna be using is B'cuzz brand and heard it hold a lot of salt or something like that. I was wondering if it would be better for a 50/50 mix or 75% perlite. To 25% coco. Also heard coco has an unstable PH. Newb so I have no idea either way. Thanx man!

I wouldnt use 100% perlite.. 100% coco is Ok I would use Botanicare Coco, and nothing else...
Its always a good idea to add some perlite to your coco, its more of a personal preference.

You can add 1-2ml of Cal/Mg, You can also use epsom salt... I think its 1 teaspoon per gallon....(1gram/gallon)


(just saw ur B'cuzz brand thing..)
If ur going to use B'cuzz coco.. make sure to wash it out, several times....

Heres the modified Coco Recipe for the Lucas Formula...
6ml of Flora Micro, and 9ml of Flora Bloom, per gallon of water, along with 1 gram of Epsom salt per gallon of water. (or 1-2ml of Cal/Mg)

Thank you I'm checking out that thread now. Seems people do say B'cuzz is a lil hot and to rinse the shit out of it. My local hydro shop only had this stuff so that what I'm working with. Should the water I rinse it wth be PH'd?

Nah, just tap water is fine...
Your gonna use a lot of water... Plus tap is already 6.7-7.0...
(my tap PH as an ex.)
