Worst strain you have even grown ?

I will give you this. But the real reality is that the reason we respect Isreal is cause of $$$$$. If Isreal was broke they would be history, and no not modern history.
No it's all about Jesus. if Isreal worshiped Buddha, we would have nothing to do with them. The US gives more financial aid to isreal than any other country. Iraq is #2.

But we are getting off-track.

G13...I read it required a lil extra attention but it just wasn't for me. The thing is I'm not prepared to say that it's a bad strain as someone else could have just as easily had a positive result. I also found Hindu Kush to be a weaker grower in general but at the same time, one turned out to be very resilient. As each strain's demand will be slightly different...it takes much time to solve the equation. This is why I prefer strains that allow more room for error and not so perfect conditions. I like heat/humidity/mold resistant, easy to clone strains. IMO, the first step is good genetics as most people can't afford to make big mistakes.
Im growing the G at the moment and yes its sensitive to temps, mold especially. Excellent smoke but not for beginners at 100 bucks a pop.

As for the WORST strains ill give you the trifecta in order 1- durban
2- holland hope
3- durban poison
All like smoking fresh air.

Hey Buds,

Why can't breeders eliminate all bad phenotypes so that we're not growing shit half the time?.

Anyone??

Take a peek below, even reputable breeders have issues. I have a lady that looks like the front of High Times...and smells faintly like ass!. It's all a guessing game, I don't mind wasting $$ on beans...I do mind wasting time growing ones that should never have been sold.

I had a G13 labs Durban poison freebie seed from the attitude i kept her going for 18 months before my mate grew her out and killed her i wish i still had her as she was awesome, strength was very good strong but functional yield was decent 4 ounces easily attainable taste was hard to describe but very tasty.
If you do try the Durban poison again i hope you find something like i had because she was special and very popular with everyone that smoked her

Yes the black market drives up the price, but that is going to exist as long as the law remains. Unlike tomato gardeners who can grow out enormous fields of tomatoes and have the ability to sell their product on a huge scale, marijuana must be grown secretly and under the radar. That costs more money when you add in all the electricity and security equipment to stay under the radar. It also means they take a huge risk in doing what they do so if there wasn't the reward, the risk would be too great to keep doing it. Selling it also has it's fees as you must ship your product to a retailer who will take on the responsibility of the selling and they have overhead and need to make money off of it too.

Barneys farm tangerine dream. Took 13 weeks. Yield 5+ ozs which is decent. But it foxtailed and just isn't that impressive.

geeeeeeeez, thats one freak pheno man. i though tangerine dream won indica at the cannabis cup or something.
A lot of people are complaining that it takes about 13 weeks, the 10 week pheno seems less common but it is out there and it has a nicer structure with much less foxtailing. My guess is Barneys knew it wouldn't sell as well if they advertised as a 13 week strain even with the cannabis cup attached to it.

It's just... ugly. Makes the flowers look like they've been treated roughly, which in most cases is true. Foxtailing is usually a response to higher temperatures, while some strains do have a tendency to foxtail they still keep that tight bud structure.

true, i like a good long flowering haze here and there but growing it is certainly harder to do if your outdoors in fl. and ive been hearing bad things about barneys on this thread, so ill keep away from the 10 dollar per feminized seeds "deal" lol.

Hey Buds,

Why can't breeders eliminate all bad phenotypes so that we're not growing shit half the time?.

for one sun, most breeders don't want to do the work involved in stabilizing a strain.. it can easily take 2 good years of hard work to get a strain pretty stable.. got to grow out lots and lots of plants, know what you're looking for, and know how to isolate that trait so it can be passed on..

secondly, so many breeders today are using unstable, poly hybrids to breed with.. if the parents were never stable to begin with, what chance do you think the offspring will ever have of being stable?? not much right.. this is why i'm not a very big fan of subcools work.. it seems like 90% of his gear is multi hybrids from hell crossed to more multi hybrids.. what i mean by this is that the parents come from a large gene pool, that may or may not be the most stable.. this allows the chance of tons of pheno's showing their heads in say a 10 pack of seeds.. idk how many different pheno's of say his plushberry i'm always reading about.. the pink pheno, the purple phen, the green one, etc.. shows me he either hasn't done the work to stabiilze them, or b, the parents tend to be multi hybrid crap imho..

Barneys farm tangerine dream. Thought it would just take awhile for it to start pumping out the triches but all i ended up getting is a decently sized plant that would of have a extreamly large harvest but it came out in the end product you could see between the buds with very little crystals. To their defense it smelt like sweet oranges that we dipped in the sweetest candy. Seems to be a common problem with TD and Barneys. Edit: it did finish in 10weeks, and i probably would of harvested 3-4ounces off it the main cola was a foot long atleast and as wide as my wrist but just no density, also it was growing and sprouting new leaves during flower making it a pain to trim.
