I have a success story and a serious warning for all of you who rent out there.
I have lived in the same place for about a year now. They have always (as legally required in my neck of the woods) given me written notice posted on my door 48 hours befor they may attempt ; D to enter my apartment, and I always make sure I am home to ignore their knocking and trying to open my door (thank you deadbolt!). However, the last time they left me a not giving me a time of day he would show up again and he didn't, so I said fuck it, right?
Well luckily the deadbolt was securely locked when this worthless peasant tried to enter my apartment this morning with no work order (I checked) and no written advance notice to me AS LEGALLY REQUIRED. There are a lot of bad vibes going around right now with the terrible economy and all (people in the south act like they're in the bronx now... I'm not kidding) I know that these pathetic jackasses who work maintenance where I live never do shit just to piss us off. Every day at least one of us asks them to clean the pool for example and they NEVER DO.
just remember kids, peasant poor pieces of shit who do apt maintenance and also pest control techs are aware of us. And enjoy trying to wreck our lives. If you live in an apt, make sure you keep that fucking deadbolt locked and never leave that house during 7am to 6pm. If you must leave then have a trusted homeboy come and play xbox live while you are running errands and throw him a lil token of appreciation.
