makes sense to me. i just got back from california and made extra sure to allow for possible red light runners whenever i had to make a left turn at the end of a green/yellow light.

umm.. when I got hit I was driving down a main street this idiot came out of a private drive. He was looking down and pulling onto the road. He t-boned me. Hit the driver side door and knocked me into a parking lot. It's possible.


And to add insult to injury. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I had just paid the car off the previous month.

Hey... you guys live in the "litigious states of america" I'd follow dirtsurfr's advice and sue the ass off of her. Of course she's paying for everything ... she HAS to as it's HER fault. So you guys sue her and have her pay for some pain and suffering, replacement cost of the vehicle and a few other things... I'm sure a good lawyer (shit ... did I just say "good lawyer"???) will be able to come up with a laundry list of things she has to pay for

.........and facepalm, Urca we only read ur words, i tried and u came back to insult everyone instead of explaining the accident question, again focusing on the negative U mentioned ur day was crappy cause u never got high, maybe explain that u were sad and cried because ur sister was in the hospital, people don't read minds, they do jump to conslusions if the intent is unclear

I agree. The accident was a bad thing, but her coming out of it as well as she did, makes it a great Easter. Be glad you weren't in the vehicle. The more people in a vehicle during a crash increases the chances of someone being seriously hurt.
You both had a wake up call to be thankful for things...but I am a glass half full instead of half empty type of person.
