the veterans who voluntarily signed up for a pointless, interventionist wars (often because they are hurting for money and unable to procure any other work) are better than you.
if you didn't help increase the national debt and body count of innocent foreigners, you can shut your mouth up.

oddly, i don't go around trying to hold this over anyone's head as some sort of an awesome contribution, unlike the people who volunteered for these pointless and costly boondoggles.
you ever figure out how much oil we were getting from kuwait back in the 1990-1994 period? i bet if we took the 2-3% of our total oil supply we go from them and replaced it with the most expensive alternative, the price difference would have been absolutely negligible. or, as you like to put it, the lynch pin in 20 years of cheap gas that lead to massive growth all about this nation of ours.

after 2 years, that adds up to 8,694 posts.

these are the type of people that like to call me a war hawk because i may cast a vote for obama this year, the guy holding an anti-war rally in lincoln, illinois the day before we launched the pointless invasion of iraq.
he'll say i haven't contributed as much as he has, because he voluntarily joined these pointless boondoggles. then he'll turn around and talk about how much money we've wasted fighting these pointless boondoggles and how many innocent people have died because of them.
the hypocrisy is downright alarming. again, hate to pick fights with vets, but when they talk out of both sides of their mouth like this guy, i'm not going to hold back.

I disagree you have been nothing but nasty to me since I been here. If you feel the way you do its not my fault. You picked the fight with everyone who says the dont like Obama and you will say anything. Act like I do? Insult after insult over and over, build a bridge and get over it. I never said anyone owes me anything, never took a hand out in my life and have done my best to contribute something to what is right. I dont owe you anything, seems like you feel like I do. The government doesnt owe us anything it is what it is, at least if you dont like it do something to change it. Vets who act like me, you know nothing about me. I'll bet you think its ok to act like you do and thats your choice, but really it is sad. What is it you have done to be so high in life that your able to look down on some of us the way you do?
I never once said we got all our oil from Kuwait, I said that the liberation of Kuwait and the subsequent Iraq debacle made it so we got cheap oil. You need to learn to read, you spent all your time rallying for stupid worthless causes in college while soaking up tax payer money to fund your education at a reasonable interest rate. You should have been cracking a textbook or reading a newspaper instead.
You were living in the lap of luxury while Some of us were being shot at, had to endure 22 hour days for weeks on end, missed most of our meals. Got to shower once a week, we sacrificed and you spouted off about how you were SOOOO against the war, just like your little messiah did. What happened when Obama made president and could actually bring some troops home? He sent more in!!! Then he started attacking other countries that had little defense and were easy targets. All so China wouldn't get the oil.
Just face it, while the rest of us have the balls to defend what we believe in, to die if necessary, you don't. You contributed nothing, yet you stand there in indignation of it all, with your deity and his words as your only defense.
