It's easy to be a hater. It's another thing to actually go out and do things for the community. The funny thing is that people have been asking Sub to make prebagged supersoil forever and he always had refused saying he didn't have time or patience to do it. Since Dioxide is the one who is doing the work Sub finally agreed to do it.

The prior recipe that Sub gave for was for FREE. It wasn't like he had his hands on the profits of his Supersoil ingredients he was using in his mix. He was just showing people how he does it.

Who wouldn't want to know exactly what someone who grows dank that is in every magazine is using? Frankly, I wish more breeders were as open and honest.

I just don't understand what your problem/motive is? Why come into someone else's sub forum and troll with your hate?


If it's such a con-job as you say, why don't you just do it yourself and see how many people are gonna grow using RJ41's soil and genetics see how many seeds you can sell? I don't think you could make it in the competitive seed biz bro and your just hating out of spite.

I don't hate sub. And I'm totally not jealous. I don't like his sales/marketing tactics because he preys on children. Plus, his entire plant lineup hasn't been around long enough to be anywhere near stabilized, that's why so many people wind up with hermies. The poor genetics I can actually ignore. The preying on kids though? No.


If you knew me and what I have, you'd be begging me for a seed. No, I don't consider myself a "breeder", I'm not that arrogant, lol. I'm just a guy that's been "gardening" for almost 40 years and knows a bit more than the average person.

Funny thing is I didn't spend one penny on his genetics until I ran the Supersoil first. That is the only reason I had even heard of Subcool was that I stumbled upon his soil recipe online. I read and researched it because as a medical patient "water only" seemed like the hassle free way to grow. And because the supersoil worked so well, I figured that I had to try his genetics. And I will tell you I am no kid. I will also tell you that his genetics are definitely good shit. I got the pics to prove it.

The man has his methods and his ways. He is upfront and yes sometimes he can come off as an asshole, but that is what I like about Sub. If he don't like something he let's you know, but if you know Sub you know that in the end if he realizes he was wrong, he comes to his senses and admits it. In short, he's real.

I don't understand your problem with someone trying to educate the masses about proper marijuana cultivation for free on forums and youtube. If anything he not only details things with words but then also shows you with how to videos.

It's not like he has to do it. I'll give you that it does help attract people to him to buy his product, but the reason your buying Subcool's product is because he puts it all out there for you to see. On top of all the bullshit he has to put up with on a daily basis, would/does scare most breeders from doing what it is he does so well.

If you are helping people with their grows by going that extra mile and making the videos and detailed threads with pics, people are going to buy your product because you have formed a trust with them. They know if they follow his methods that they work, and he has shown them in such detail it's pretty much a no fail if you have half a brain.

It is smart for Subcool b/c yes, it helps him sell seeds, but it is also smart of the consumer b/c if he needs help later he knows he can ask the man himself and get a answer or how to go about finding the answer.

I have a hard time with your argument. It doesn't sound very legit. He markets to the masses because he is out there and open and people like that.

I don't know too many kids that are medical marijuana patients. Do you?

lol hella funny!!! i swear sub when i started this thread it was to be a simple discussion on super soil, no idea it would turn into a 13 page headline of chaos, cant we all just grow dank, get along and give props where props need to be givin, gota give u props cause even tho alota people r callin u a asshole u seem to be a pretty nice dude and have takin all the bullshit with a laugh, and idk what these folks are talkin bout, ive grown ur genetics out quite a few times and never got a hermie, ive even incorperated the apollo 13bx into my breeding program (i found a bad fuckin ass male ap13bx) and ive never had hermies in the hybrid ive made from it, i havent grown out all ur strains but i have grown out a few and i found no hermies!!
 
I am a 43 year old MMJ patient. The only people I know that are familiar with TGA Genetics in my area are adult medical marijuana patients! I have a 19 year old son who is a MMJ patient in Los Angeles that has never heard of TGA Genetics or Subcool. I don't get where you get the marketing to kids idea? Immature people maybe but kids? There is something that I say when me and my girl are arguing and I run out of excuses here it is " I GOT NOTHIN' HERE SOMEBODY THROW ME A DAMN BONE"! You sir seem to be approaching that point. Good day! ;-)
 
as long as he donates to autism,or any other charity i say get that tax bennifit for a matter of fact anyone who want the tax benifit donate to an autism charity.I have autistic children and anything that can be found out to help my children i am all for i will not live forever to watch over them so from me and my children THANKS subcool and mrs.jill.

I say it's fair game to criticize subcools genetics that he sells. By offering a product, and being somewhat in the public eye, you open yourself up to having your product critiqued. This is the big boy table, and not everyone will play nice. Hell, I've seen subcool himself rip on other breeders genetics, so he'd be a damn hypocrite if he couldn't stomach the negative reviews.

BUT, coming on here with baseless nonsense like "he's targeting children" is just plain stupid, and out of line. Even if his genetics aren't all their cracked up to be, I still tip my hat to the guy for offering a ton free advice and tutorials on line. If he can market his soil and make a few bucks while he's at it, good for him. Why would anyone have a beef with that?

I thought pot smokers were supposed to be chill?

Sorry Sub, I just reread my post, I didn't mean to call you an asshole, poor choice of words...in 1993 a head injury ended my regular life, I found Cannabis to help my condition to the point I am now a warrior for MMJ, the shit really works...So in my local quest for medical grade medicine , where I live it truly is a starting from scratch endeavor , I realized if I want it I'm going to have to grow it. Gulp ! Over 50 and starting an indoor grow in an unfriendly state , WITH a head injury....friggn' makes my toes curl up. I had some experience in high school horticulture for 4 years and have a knack for growing stuff, that said growing weed was a brand new bag. First off...where the fuck to get seeds? After a few weeks trying to find 1 seed...ANY seed , I found 1 seed in some weed that cost me $100 1/4, (wtf $100 for THAT amount ?). I went in the back yard with a Folgers can , dug up some dirt and away we go. I got a couple of grows under my belt, bad ones but still, I had sad little meds of a sort....So, I need to find out wtf I'm doing wrong, Internet is a wonderful thing, After many, many hours of study, head injury remember, the light pops on, SS and Genetics are the key to success, Enter Subcool...Vids on EVERYTHING starting from scratch ! It is a true treasure trove of knowledge, all ya have to do is follow the steps... This is why we fight in Sub's corner. He put it out there for everyone, even the haters , the info is solid. It has worked for me so far and Brother if I can do it , ANYONE can . As corny as it is, one day I aspire to be a Green Avenger ! Salute SubCool ! How long before there is another goodbye post by Sub ? Is it not normal for Sub to run when he gets a scratch or two ? Seems to be the story everywhere else and he just bailed out on alot of good people who did nothing to deserve such ...

I just am amazed that he could wait to see if this bagged soil will make the grade , should be doing that with his Hybrid of the month before selling . I would have felt dumb running a test grow for him to only have him sell the seeds before you finish the test ( Real Breeder there ) .

What is going to be in the over priced bag of dirt ? Same shit as the next bag made in line or previously made , because it too will be outsourced like the others at some corporate plant !

this isnt promoting much anything, its kinda silly to think this is gonna increase your seed sales by any large amount. google sees the link to the thread if you do some serious googling at that, and thats about i. this thread is nothing compared to the other things youve done to actually market your stuff.
