Reading back through my post so far.
it seems to me, I am coming across in ways other than I would like .
Please let me take a second and try to clarify why i am here.
I have not made what I am looking for clear from the beginning.
Information overload is what I am dealing with here,lol
I apologise as am also learning how to post effectively and obviously have a long way to go.
I chose CFL for a challenge. I can buy dank nugs(meds)
all day long almost cheaper than growing myself.
Which I do.lol MMJ card.
I am not looking for mass yield or the dankest nugs.
I know HPS is the way to go for mass dankness.
I do not pretend nore desire too prove anything about CFL's ability to go A+ dank.
I am already shopping for my 600w HPS set up for my 2nd grow next winter.
Something like (Organic soil 12 lady 600w hps SCROG and a 150w hps 10 strain seed grow In 5 gal air pots)
with some of these cfls around.
I went with CFL and this set up because if I where going to do it I had to start or my chance would have past.
I moved into a home and had a short window of opportunity to work with. Could have lost the room to another human.
can you imagine..lol
Lack of money and already behind in bills I had no real choice as all I had on hand was a 150w hps
with a burned out bulb.
I had to spend what I had on building the walls and getting soil and such.
I found CFL's on the super cheap and love to create chit so it worked for me.
I understand now that no one wants to read through 20 odd pages to get the whole Idea.
Yet if you do I feel you could see I already know the Lady's look stressed and like cfl buds.
They have had a hard time dealing with my learning curve as to Heat,soil,nuit's,tea.s,watering and so on.
I cant believe they are still alive is what I am try to get across at this point with my pics.
I would call these (SSH & SourD)are looking like they will be c to c+ grade nug's after dry and cure and
to me after what I have done so far is not so bad. The buds not the fan/sugar leaf's.
I tried to set my goal for yield low. 1 oz per lady and I am on par to blow that away with the scrog and training.
Please allow me to be clear here. If this grow just up and died tonight(fried,mold no way to save)
I would be bummed, yet would not cry. I have gained so much already on my own that this has paid
for it's self already. 3 oz's dried- 1oz GK smoked. add in the fun and challenges,knowledge and I am golden.
I am trying to reach my own ceiling of knowledge and ability on around 15 different things at once here.
at the same time figure out how to share and bring people along for the ride.
I understand that I am going to need help if I want to really be able to create at some point.
I and patient for the most part and plan on 2 years of learning before I Begin to really learn,
I will fail and succeed,have good and bad days,grow,idea's and am willing to pay the price
from time to time in order to see for myself.
I hope this makes sense.
I am challenging myself and I am capable of some crazy chit.
I am not looking for perfection or the best or anything but the challenge and the courage to
take the hard path.
Its the hard path that pays off in the long run.
I am here for the long road and when I reach 10,000 post over 5 years and 8 grows complete.
Then you will see why I do what I do the way I do it.. lol
What am I looking for on this forum and the people on it ?
constructive criticism- to be challenged with different idea's and opinion's.
To be inspired and helped when troubled. Answer's to specific questions and such.
I don't need praise and am not looking to be a master grower/poster forum leader kind of guy.
Though it is nice to hear( good job) from time to time.
I can take( Oh my god are u fken nuts, what are you doing) with out attacking u. lol
I am not a kid here.
I am looking to come across as positive and open to suggestion-- I seem to be am failing at this goal.lol
At this point I can not go and add a hps and a AC to cool. without blowing my cost per gram through the roof.
No way I want to pay more to grow than just go buy already done.
I would rather have c grade nugs cheap than b grade nugs for the cost of A grade.
With that said I apologize to anyone that taken offence of felt anything other than glad you bothered looking at my journal.
I ask for patients and understanding and I will continue to refine my postings and wording and try to come across
in a way that positive and open as that has always been what I have tried to share.

I checked the room with lights off and of course found lite... cha... From when I changed over to flower only.. Around 3 weeks.
Not to bad yet enough I think to have slowed my roll...
I used That Mer-garlic mix of your and added the little oil mix I had left and seems to be working.
I find a dead moth everyday now...

looks like it, id say chop her in the next 2 weeks, most of the lower buds are probably developed enough, check the amber hairs compared to white hairs, they can vary sometimes. and the marigold and garlic is the shit, i spray it on the outsides of my pots now and i havent had pests, a small amount of garlic is fine in foliar spray even with buds, i spray over it with water afterwards so the garlic smell isnt too bad, i still got the good stench of berries comin from her. trichs arent effected either, even when i have a heavy rain she still comes out frosty.
for moths, you can get a foliar spray mixed with canola, mix about a table spoon per gallon and shake the shit out of it before spraying, its basically fly paper but if it touches a leaf it wont hurt em, i havent ever spray canola on buds though and i probably wouldnt do it with a high concentration of canola though.

canola oil ?. I would never do that..lol... I used cinnimon oil mix I had for mite's. just a 8th cup I had left.
Hard to go by her hair due to went I sprayed her for mites a few weeks ago. All hairs tuned red/orange.
I check trichs for amber and milky cloud look everyday. still clear as a glass yet theres more everyday so Im chill...
Buy the time my lite comes tho... she has ta go..lol SCROG... aaahhhhh... lol cant wait for this...
The ladys I put outside are looking great and growing like mad and I am going to try and graft a SSH to my red elm's once
they start to show root. I want to try and graft a red elm to one of the SSH scrog ladys.
I am thinking_ Once a elm shows root in clone cube. Cut cube on one side to stem. Scrape the SSH main stem 4 inches
high from soil . 1 inch scrape through bark. wrap the cube with elm around SSH and cover with plasic wrap,leaving a
little opening on top for water and air. wait a month and remove. lol hummm
oh and the SSH-1 lower nugs are little fat thangz. looken tit's... yep...

canolas natural, great wetting agent as well but i dont recommend it for flower. and havent tried cinnamon before, may have to check that out. and thats gonna be sweet, scrog will get you some pretty equivalent buds if you train properly. and the red elm thing sounds interesting, try grafting with masking tape though, should be smoother hopefully. and a very small amount of superthrive for vitamins, should help the rooting process.
