So far so good. The 2 larger plants are 2 weeks into flower and the smaller girl is 3 weeks. I took some pollen from a Grapefruit Krush male and pollinated some buds on the smaller plant. I wanted to begin my journey into breeding with just trying to successfully get some seeds. Who knows what I'll get. There are no signs of herm as of yet so..just taking it one day at a time...lol.
Wow, you can really see the stretch now, looking good though Darwin - tops'a'plenty!

Trip, I only LST'd these babies. I wouldn't recommend super-cropping this strain. For nutes I'm using Fox Farm's Grow Big for veg and Tiger bloom for flower. I also use Drammatic K which is a fish and kelp supplement.

Yeah I'm hoping the stretch will be over soon. The plant that is 3 weeks in, seems to have slowed down a bit.
I got everything I need, today, to make 2 DWC buckets...so needless to say I am already thinking about my next grow!...... I know bad right? I also picked up another container of Tums for this BB grow....I swear if I make it through this grow with no stomach ulcers...it will be a miracle!!

i think im more qualified than most to give my opinion on this strain , just just finished a 40 plant grow of dp blueberry regulars , out of 40 seeds i ended up with 21 females and out of these 21 females only 3 had everything !! only 3 were short stout sweet smelling plants , with red and purple hues and purple stripes running down the stem , some of the other females were good but they didn't have everything , either they were sativa learning with low yield , or they were mutants , or they had no smell to them/wrong smell , out of 21 females they were all different in there own ways , on the hermie front i got about 3 or 4 females that hermied slightly , but once i picked the pollen sacks off they were fine ,

imo dp blueberry is just like any pure blueberry line its a pheno hunt !! its not a strain you can grow 2 or 3 fems of and get a perfect blueberry ..................... well unless your lucky of course , it takes numbers to find the best plants, 20 regs minimum , and even then you might not find gold , blueberry is actually better in a cross imo i would advise small scale feminized growers , to grow a bluberry cross such as blue cheese or blue mystic or blue rhino , blueberry gum , blue widow ect ect , for more advanced growers who grow real seeds in regular form go with chimera , and spice of life these have the very best blueberry cross;s on the market but there only in regular no fems at all , sols bluebonic , and chimeras, blueberry x grapefruit are exceptional

Damn Raider those are some sweet looking plants. I originally wanted Blue Moonshine but Attitude discontinued it, for some reason. I'm going to check out Seed Boutique!

also if u look at pick #2 and go google djshort old time moonshine yule see that exact pheno in yure grow 2 or 3 maybe of a strain that doesnt exist anymore .which is an insane plant.the split one is a common pheno, also as well looks like a pic of djshort bluemoonshine whom he shared in the work to produce this strain for dutch passion 11 yrs ago looks very similar.

Thank you King. I do have some blueberry gum lined up for my next grow. This is only my second grow using fem seeds and I'm not liking it too much...too stressful. lol But for my small scale grow, it seemed like the right choice. I'm only running 4-6 plants at a time, until I find which grow method best suits me. Once I figure that out I intend to expand. I already have an empty room waiting! ;)

I think one of the beautiful things about growing weed is just as your plants are getting right into the thick of flowering, and things are getting fun anyways - you get to start thinking of the next grow, happy times. Not a bad thing amigo. Try and relax about the hermie tendancies - I promise that careful plucking will keep the seeds away. I've had no trouble keeping my BBs seedless despite so many pollen sacks. And hey, once they are done and you are on to your next grow - you'll be able to say you have that strain under your belt :)

like i said i'd go with Bluemoonshine especially if yure wanting somethin blue and high yield.these were 2gallon pots.avg 2 zips dry per plant.
Hi Raiderman, just curious if you know where to get some Bluemoonshine seeds? They say on Tude 'Discontinued' and 'out of stock'. Had my eye on that strain for about a year but havent seen it available :(

ok edit - so I somehow missed the post where you say where you get em. So its DP bluemoonshine, i see now. I really fancied the DJ Short one though.

Interresting post, its a real pain when your limited to a small grow and want some blueberry thats for sure. I have to agree with your point about BB crosses being a better bet for a smaller grow.

Hey peeps!! Update time...! Things are going pretty well save the recent appearance of "the claw". Now 2 out of 3 plants have it, and I can't quite figure out the exact cause. Anyone have any opinions? It's definitely not the ph. One plant is going really strong and is so far unscathed...which is the diff pheno than the other two. The 2 that are more alike are the ones that are affected.
On a happier note, my 1st attempt at breeding was a success as you will see by the pic. Pollination took place on the 28th of Apr. and there are many lil' seeds taking shape. :D Pretty frosty for 3 weeks flower too. All 3 plants are all looking very fem, still, with no signs of nanners.
Any suggestions on this claw thing would be greatly appreciated. Should I flush? The last 2 waterings were with RO water, but after the last watering, the problem seemed to get a bit worse, on the one girl.

I'll admitt i oft got a bit of the claw with blueberry, I thought it was cos I never dialled in the strain so to speak. No sign of burn from nutes I can see. Have you considered moisture stress? I notice your claw leaves have a cupped shape which is a symptom I see when i dont leave exhaust fan's running at night for example. I would notice this downward (or upward sometimes) cupping on the parts of the plants closest to my hps light by day - as it was those leaves that got the hottest durring lights on and went through the biggest stress. I should also add that when i grew G13 BBgum the upper leaves did the same cupping thing, it was then i zerod in on the problem.

I have an oscillating fan running 24/7 on them. I was wondering if maybe it was heat stress...so I raised the light a bit. I wait until they are really dry, before I water, using the lift method. The only change, recently, is that I raised my RH from 20% to 35%. My light does throw of alot of heat, but I do have a fan, above and below, to blow off excess heat. I'm not sure what route to go to correct the problem.

Do you have a max/min humidity gauge? I spotted that I was getting like 70-90% humidity durring my dark cycle when not using an exhaust fan to remove the moisture at night. After that I kept both my oscillating and exhaust fans on 24/7 and it kept my humidity in a much narrower range. I'm not all that knowledgable on this though unfortunatly. I'm pretty sure that its ok to make a change in RH like you have done, the important thing is to keep the RH from swinging about wildly.
