ohhh i am going to be making that spray all summer..thanks again...this bug did not look like any of those..you could not see the legs on this bug..like an inchworm but very small.
Yeah, Early Girls only virtue is fast production. They taste barely better than store bought tomatoes, dont yield high enough to warrant the space they take, and are really a why bother variety. It's not too late to grow corn this year.. Till up a 5x5 patch and you can grow a couple bushels before september. I even once grew popcorn when i spilled some kernels from the bag, swept em up and tossed em into my yard for squirrels and whatnot. the kernels have slightly tough skins but are kinda tasty.Hell no one likes Early Girls...Thanks guys for the lesson in corn.. Didn't know you could grow it on a small plot like you guys are doing..Might try my hand at it next year.
in my experience, spraying during flower can effect smell of the bud unless you give them a good rinse or spray with regular water. if its the 1-4 weeks into flowering, garlic, marigold, pepper, neem, and a very small amount of canola oil would be fine(i would use a teaspoon every gallon or so, shake well before spray and try to hit the bottoms of the leaves especially). for the 5th to last weeks of flower, i would only use marigold, neem, and tiny bits of garlic(that after-spray with reg water should eliminate any smell). spraying your top soil/outside of your pots is also good to deter mites/aphids, just look under your leaves especially, thats where theyll hide.tobacco sprays can be deadly to some plants, like tomatoes. Tobacco is a huge repository for tomato leaf curl virus, among others most large tomato growers dont allow tobacco products in their fields, neither smoked nor chewed. Nicotine can enter some plant's systems, killing them (tomatoes dont mind nicotine, but many plants just croak) or making you sick, or possibly hilariously addicted to broccoli (just kidding). I used a tobacco spray years ago and lost several plants overnight. as i recall, parsley carrots basil and some really young roses just snuffed it, so i havent used it since.
Hot pepper spray is safer, and mostly harmless. other than that sevin dust is good up till flowering/fruiting of edible/smokeable plants and neem oil has a good reputation. i never used that.
No, I did not know that. When I was 18, the state I lived in, the drinking age was 21 but 10 miles away was a state that allowed 18 yr olds to drink. After turning 21, I never paid much attention to it.you do know the law for alcohol in the USA is 21 not 18...so you want it to be allowed at 18 ??? You also insinuate that with parental supervision that it could be smoked at the age of 10... is this correct ???
No, I wasn't.Just to be clear, I think Mr Neutron is talking about the drinking age in Mexico.
I wasn't...maybe he got confused with Mexico, for I don't understand why he would be talking about Mexico's laws in a thread about Obama
Weak, very weak.Mexico has a drinking age? Didn't Neutron used to live in the States? Maybe it's been that long since he's been allowed back in he thinks it's still 18?
yup I think Louisiana was the last state for it to be 18 but they even changed it to 21 a few years back. I like the 21 age to drink, but I do understand the argument for military and voting age should be allowed. Old enough to die for your country you should be able to drink. You can drive at 15-16 and no way in hell would I want my child drinking at 16 ( or smoking weed for that matter). No, I did not know that. I think if you are old enough to join the military, vote and drive a car... you should be able to drink alcohol.
Yes, with parental supervision.
Are you saying the voting age and age limit to join the military should be 21?yup I think Louisiana was the last state for it to be 18 but they even changed it to 21 a few years back. no ...I'm just glad the age is 21 to drink, but I do understand anyones argument that it should be younger due to the fact you can vote and die for your country at 18. I just wouldn't want a bunch of 18 year olds with a free pass to get drunk whenever the wanted. With drinking comes responsibilty as well. Are you saying the voting age and age limit to join the military should be 21?
Well, there is always Johnson, so the choice is not just between Romney and Obama.Dude your choice is Romney or Obama...from what you saying you will not be voting
What is self-righteous about making politicians pay for their anti-liberty philosophy and actions?fair enough. but he is self righteous as fuck.
No one's slipping me the chimichanga unless it's vegan! What is self-righteous about making politicians pay for their anti-liberty philosophy and actions?
If you tell Obamney, "I hate your position on the drug war, but you have my vote" then he will laugh at you and violently slip you the chimi chonga. The only way to change the political situation is to create real consequences for politicians.
That is the worst kind! Have you seen the size of an egg plant? No one's slipping me the chimichanga unless it's vegan!
Selecting arbitrary ages for unfettered access to liquor, tobacco, guns etc... is a sound policy for a government, but suggesting that the difference between 18 and 21 is in any way significant is kinda silly. never in the history of humanity has a motivated teenage lad been prevented from acquiring his preferred intoxicant. As well to try and hold back the ocean with a tea towel.no ...I'm just glad the age is 21 to drink, but I do understand anyones argument that it should be younger due to the fact you can vote and die for your country at 18. I don't know ...I was a totally different person at 21 then I was at 18 ..I would hope that you would be a different person when you left college then when you went in...The same for if you first joined the military and 3 years later..Selecting arbitrary ages for unfettered access to liquor, tobacco, guns etc... is a sound policy for a government, but suggesting that the difference between 18 and 21 is in any way significant is kinda silly.
so you would let your 16 year old girl drink at home with 2 or three of her buddies ????europeans let kids drink wine at an early age...parents need to teach kids how to handle and not abuse liquor ..making dumb ass laws only forces it underground and behind the parents back....i would prefer my kid to drink at my home and not drive ..then to be in parks or on railroad tracks with their friends drinking and driving...the problem is this country has turned into a bunch of pussies and everybody sues everyone...so a parent can not let their kid have 2 or 3 friends over for a few beers because the cops and other parents would overreact.
