i do not believe in ghosts or supernatural anything, but this is pretty crazy if anyone cares to explain it for me. i still can't, but there has to be a logical explanation.

"I don't believe in ghosts, I'm a scientist".. But I still can't stand to hear ghost stories.. They give me chills (like carne's ghost story), So I usually just cover my ears and say "ALALALALALA".

I believe in ghosts, never seen one but seen some weird shit. these are my experiences. we had a capenter come around to fix the stairs, he took a shining to my mom. He would always come around out of the blue and see if this or that needed attention. Well, he died, bit cliche but most nights around midnight we would hear three loud bangs on the stairs right where he had been working, always three bangs. We used to invite people over to witness it. Then if you stood at the top of stairs you would feel a presence. It stopped after a couple of years.

a great friend of ours passed, me and my uncle were outside drinking a few beers lamenting. There was no wind, it was a nice night. Then a beer bottle tilted over and clinked with mine but it didn't fall or roll off the other glass bottle, it stayed perfectly balanced. That same night a mouse jumped on my uncles head. this mouse needed to jump about three meters in order to make it to my uncle.

my friend has a house built in medieval times. Twice I have seen a black figure like someone dresed in a cloak standing at the doorway of my bedroom. first time I was reading a book and looked up I thought it was my friend standing there doing something so carried on reading. second time I was just waking up from a siesta and there it was again. I just rolled over and thought 'ya'.

Technically I have been a ghost too, so I'm pretty sure they exist. we're meant to send them to the light apparently.

Since my father passed away when i was 9 i have always believed that the spirit world is something very real.
I was camping with my girl guide troop, winter camping in early January. On the first day i went as my day as usual, the next morning i woke up feeling "weird" just not myself, everyone went to the hills to go slidding, i stayed behind. As i'm quietly sitting on my bunk i see my uncle walk in. Well knowing how far we had travelled i know seein him and his g/f meant something out o the ordinary was up. I kinda gathered my stuff, as if i already knew and just reacted. We got into his car and for the next hour i sat in silence, still had not even asked why i was being picked up. Finaly i cracked, I looked at his red puffy eyes in the rear view mirror and asked what was going on, he said "ur daddy misses u" well at that point i knew something horrible had happened, and it had. My father has visited me in my dreams, i clearly see his face when everyone else is a blurr. Ghost don't need to be scary monsters, some can be the most beautiful images ever seen, guess it depends on who visits u :)

I've seen two ghosts. One talked, the other didn't. I've also only heard a ghost once. Then I've had one paranormal smell and one warm spot.

i'm agnostic. I was an atheist, but I had an encounter with some sort of spirit / living organism humans don't fully understand. I won't get into detail, but I'm a believer!

Proof of ghosts existing isnt proof of god. I've seen ghosts, the old hag and shadow people. I fear them more than any pathetic god existing.

i'm not talking about god per-say. i'm talking about a higher power...there is no way we are the only ones in the unimaginably huge galaxy. that's why i said / living organism humans don't fully understand. not saying aliens is an explanation, I'm saying science might be.

The definition of atheist is very simple, god doesn't exist. You don't have to be a bright atheist in order to be an atheist. My view is there are other "living" beings who are different or more advanced than we are. That in no way makes them a higher power any more than we are a higher power to an ant. Even if they do have power over us and we can't explain it. We still don't understand DNA very well at all, even though it's been mapped. So imagine trying to umderstand something different than what we consider life or a more advanced life.

Atheist doesn't mean god doesn't exist.. It's just a lack of belief. Dank isn't an atheist since she believes in higher powers. I agree though, weird shit happens that can't be explained but we can't just say they're higher beings.. yet. I mean isn't god the holy GHOST? And he's considered a higher power..So if it turns out ghosts are real, then they would be considered a higher power.. Right?

you say "even if". that means there may be a possibility, i USED to be an atheist. Atheism is, in a broad sense, the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. I am now agnostic , also called atheistic agnosticism. i'm just saying it's something beyond our understanding. that's all.

i love agnosticism, it's really the only belief that truly makes sense.

I'm an atheistic agnostic too.. I don't have a belief in a higher power but I can't disprove it just as much as I can't disprove leprechauns. There's always gonna the "unknown".

There are technically two types of atheists, those who know (strong) god doesn't exist and those who only believe (weak) in no god. I tend to consider weak athiests as agnostics too. If there are christians who you can't break their faith, yet are accepted, then an atheist you could never convince should equally be accepted. I'm of the strong variety of atheists.

I tell annoying evangelistic theists the same way they have faith in god, I have that same faith in no god. I get the same fuzzy feeling or more than any theist knowing I only need to be responsible for my own behavior and actions.

I have to disagree with you.. There's only one type of atheist.. One that does not believe in a higher power. The "weak" atheist is just known as a skeptic. They are very skeptical of the idea but can be convinced. Atheists truly can't believe.

No offense but I feel agostic is the coward's way out. It's like being on the fence. No matter which event happens, you can say, "I thought it was that." Be a "man" and pick one or the other. The funniest people are the ones who "believe" but at the same time have this so called crisis of faith. God isn't schrodinger's cat, he exists or doesn't. Pick!

If our law system was agnostic, everyone and no one would go to jail at the same time. It would have no meaning. Wrong decisions by judges happen all the time, but the judge makes a decision, for better or worse.

I have a feeling I'm gonna be an atheist in a foxhole while I'm on my death bed.

my boyfriend is an atheist, we get along, and we're madly in love. i never hate on anyone's belief, even if they hate on mine. you're acting like a crazy christian, except the opposite. does that make sense? just let me believe what i believe in and you can believe what you believe in. calm down.
