It should be legal to kill Democrats

it depends on what state you live in.

here in oregon, our castle doctrine laws do not allow us to do much besides protect our own lives. your mileage may vary elsewhere, say texas.

but here, if someone injures themselves while trespassing on my property, i can be held liable.

and i scrapped the closed circuit alarm and electric fence ideas, i'm just going to slat this thing up like fort knox. let's see them saw through several 2''x2''x8' pieces of wood without setting off the motion sensor.

LOL!
well thats some shit, if someone trespasses your held responsible for taking action. this isnt the america i wanted lol
and im sure late at night they wont be able to avoid them, id set up some fishing line at about ankle level so they eat shit while theyre trying to run too, thatd be hysterical watching one of em eat shit after setting off an alarm, thatd like double how horrified they are haha. theyd probably be thinking like "fuck.... fuck fuck fuck fuck" hahaha i feel bad for whoever falls into that trap, but i pity them for their intentions. hopefully you catch em this time, then again, could just be some raccoons. thatll suck.

it would be awesome to catch one in the act. i'd have him hogtied and dragged out to the front lawn. i'd take his phone and call his parents and tell them to come get him rather than call the police. or i might call both.

but it would be better to just keep them the fuck out altogether. they've stolen all my moms (it's OK, i just cloned them and the clones have rooted) and now i am left with my six big girls (state limit).

i'll take the tradeoff of being able to grow rather than being able to shoot a trespasser dead. that's why i live in oregon and not texas.

that's not humiliating enough for me, and likely illegal here.

lol thatll set an example for them, i guarantee none of his friends will try anything after that. and yeah, im sure those alarms will keep em out, unless you got a McGyver on your hands and he somehow deactivates it or something ridiculous like that. and thats a good trade off, id rather grow legal but id still wanna be able to defend myself. if he has a gun on him though, just be prepared. you never know when someones packin heat, thats the scary thing about these petty thefts,

i don't think these kids are packing heat. i have a big axe if i need to defend my life. but something tells me it won't come to that.

I recommend a scary dog, even a puppy is an effective alarm, even a cute little 2 month old runt. Most dogs would have the courage to put themselves in harm's way for master too. Does Portland have breed specific legislation?

no legislation that i am aware of. i have a 6 month old, 90 pound mastiff mix. he might have to come out here with me, but he likes the comfort of his fluffy bed inside. we'll see.

on second thought, the dog will stay inside to guard the castle. this GH is my "problem" alone. i'm not going to put anyone else in harm's way for my choices.

Totally off topic, and it probably seems like i'm stalking you, but certain breeds of dog are not allowed under certain home insurance policies. I don't think mastiff's are one of them tho.

On topic: Why just democrats? Serious question.

You will probably have trouble un-training vigilance. They are bred for it, particularly the Mastiff. Do you know what breed he is mixed with? You should just install a doggy door for backyard access from the house. If he is neutered, he shouldn't try to get out, usually when they run away, they have only picked up the scent of a bitch in heat. It is hard wired into a dog's brain to protect home. All you have to do is build his confidence and praise him when he barks. You may not want to inflict harm, even on a trespasser, but if your trespasser is not smart enough to run, he hurt himself. You don't have to kill anyone to teach em a lesson. You would be very surprised at how well your dog will mimic your character. Praise him for his protection and he will show restraint if you praise him in the moment of truth, but praise him and order him to stop in the same breath. Canus Lupus and Canus Familiarus are the same species but they should be called Canus Heroica. Mastiffs don't do too well with other dogs sometimes though.

this is the deepest conversation/ debate about burglars and home security ever surveillance and a glock is all you need. Cameras deter quite a bit. 99% of dogs can be baited.

50% mastiff, 25% great dane, 25% coon hound.

he's great at being vigilant when awake. but the pup sleeps like a rock.

he is always praised mightily when he goes into vigilance mode.

no plant is worth someone's life.

a glock doesn't help when you're not there/aware that there is a break in, which was the case this morning. they unexpectedly came by during daylight hours.

fucking kids.

Hounds are not the most effective breeds for security, they are for tracking and hunting. The mastiff in him is good enough though, sounds like you're on the right track, spend a lot of time with him and let him lick your face every now and then. Don't introduce him to anyone until you know you trust them, otherwise he may not bark at them. Your dog will physically defend you. Let him, just my two cents. Hope you get this problem taken care of but it sounds like you aren't in danger which is good. Great Danes are some of the smartest dogs actually, but have a high rate of hip dysplasia.
