cost to build greenhouse

LOL.

if you have to ask, you're not ready to take care of 300 plants.

my estimate would be about $25,000. this is based on the cost of my little greenhouse (12 x 24) which can house 6 plants at a cost of $500 to build (only minimal security included). 300/6 = 50, 50 x 500 = 25,000.

don't forget the cost of soil, nutrients, ventilation, possible heating, pest control, and so on.

TL;DR: donny, you're out of your element.

well if you would like to 'feet' 300 plants you will need 150 people to volunteer thier feet ( 1 for each plant )

if you are looking to do that many plants, and cant design and price your own shit, or know how big of a hole to dig....

you are just pure failure waiting to happen.

just out of curiosity, how much would it cost to build a greenhouse that can feet 300 plants?
i'm not gonna hate on you like the rest of these guys. pretty obvious you were just asking out of "curiosity" and never said you were actually building it for yourself.

a lot of factors go into that like how big the plants are going to be; are you going to have any lighting in the greenhouse (i.e. HID lighting for veg), glass or plastic; high end or low end; outside environment in you area (i.e. will you need fans or a/c), etc...

considering a 20x96 would be sufficient for about 50 plants max, you'd need about 6 of those to house 300 plants.

6 x $5k = $30k
20' x 96' = 1,920sq.ft.

assuming a very large plant that requires 5sq.ft. per plant and you have space for 384 plants. take the extra 84sq.ft out for a walkway down the middle.

5 sq ft per plant outdoors?

nope.

i have a 12 x 24 = 288 sq ft greenhouse, thing gets packed full by the end of the season with 6 plants. 288/6 = 48 sq ft per plant and even then they grow into each other, the walls, the walkway, etc. packing it any fuller is a good prescription for mold issues.

gutter connect-

means not buying 10 houses. they come as bays, and get cheaper the bigger you go.
