The problem with that sentiment is that all parties need to agree for it to work, until such time as they do "issues" will still arise. Now the problem with protecting one's crop or stash with a handgun is the law. In this state, you can get away pretty clean with rather substancial amounts of bud growing or dry but put a handgun in the house, even in a safe and you risk spending some serious time in prison.

had a malamute/saint mix - he (probably) saved my life on at least two occasions - but he had a sense of humor - I screwed up my motorcycle once, disassembled it in order to fix it up but...got....distracted. When I was able to get back to it I had found that my dog had burried most of the pieces in my back yard. On the rare occasions i neglected to take him for a walk, he would take a dump on my pillow - served me right.
