Are you using a bubble cloner? From what I've read, the cloning gel / powder will just come off of the stem as soon as it's put in water. Someone mentioned that at least the water would have the cloning material in it, but not sure how effective it is to have in the res. I might try to take some clones in rockwool and stick them under a humidity dome.

if you're coming into town soon you could also bring me a few fresh cuts in water to stick in my humidity dome... :) I got my cloning gel right in front of me :) been nice having some extra time but i miss my plants

I have to work this morning and get my daughter this evening, or I'd do that.
I am gonna get some of those rooters you were saying about today though.
Maybe when I take her home I can work something. No. I'll wait till she won't be in the car with them.

I haven't used my cloner in a minute. I used the rockwool, it worked on the tomatoes but not the Apollo.
I'll have better results with the cloner.

I do mix my powder hormone with water, then make my cuts under the water so the stern sucks up the hormone better. May put a touch in the bubble cloner and see if it helps any.

Just give me a heads up if you do :) I'll have to break into the box they're packed in and get my rooters/dome/tray out.

Hey sensei, weird shit man! A sucker bug had got a branch of one of the apollos, and they bled red sap out.
Move heard of this once before but it's pretty wild to see.

Then I thought, it's plant resin, right? I could theoretically pinprick the stems all over and collect the sap/resin and have a potent smoke eh?

Dont worry I'm not going to, I just think things a lot. And a lot of things I think, too.

Most likely you are wrong. Or sticks n stems would be so much mmore valuable.

Hey sensei, I couldn't get the rapid rooter things the other day. Think anywhere will be open Sunday? I have heard good things and want to try em.

Once I get your cuts to ya, I'm going to have to finish most of my stuff out.
I have a project that needs my attention. And I have to get some smoke put away, we're having an owlet sometime. And the wifey doesn't want pot plants everywhere she turns when we have a baby. Especially with all the company that's bound to occur because of it.

Voidling, if reading this, DON'T congrat me on the FB. We haven't announced it and the grandparents would be upset to learn that way :0

You guys are FB buddies? AW, I feel left out ;) Congrats owl when is it coming? Time to pack in some weight :) Are you just going to go to a much smaller grow or no grow at all? We move a week from today -- I can't wait! Won't be totally in the clear to grow but will be getting my cab going ASAP for those clones :) I don't know of any grow shops that would have rooters open on sunday. The only place you might find them would be at a gas pipe or planet K kind of smoke shop that also has grow supplies -- I don't know that I recall seeing rapid rooters at those places though. Like I said I can dig mine out though and give you some -- it's not like I'm using them and I'd be more than happy to get a few back with rooted cuts in them ;) Just let me know if you want to do that as I'll have to dig them out of a box

no lady? huh? high/tired.... little one not wanting to sleep tonight... took her for a drive to get her to sleep after midnight and she woke up after i got her back home and put her in bed.... had to go out again around 1... the joys of parenthood :)

I will have one strain going. (after I finish these others)
It will be my winter project. I'm working with these sparkles(G13Haze x C99) and trying to stabilize them. I like em alot. And if I focus on just one thing at a time I can devote a lot of attention to doing it right.

I got the rapid rooters and Olivia's cloning gel. Took five cuts of each Apollo. Except the flowering one. And one of the BB.
Ill clone the one in ground as well if you want one. Goes for you too Voidling. :)

I have a lot of work to do still, I've recosolidated my lights, and mylared off a closet space. But need to get a timer and another power bar. Got my fans in, but will need more surely.

Have my fog generator(if you haven't, check out fogponics) that I mainly use for my mushroom grow room feeding in to a plastic wrapped chamber with a computer fan for circulation. I'll be pumping atomized water and very mild compost tea onto/into the clones/clone chambers' atmosphere. This will then exhaust into my closet area, where I will have it divided into a upper and lower area. These being For larger and smaller plants.

Ive found that the exhale bags are merely shiitake mycelium blocks and as I also cultivate shiitakes, I will put a few bags in to
up the CO2 that will be needed with all these plants.

Well, that being said, I have to get moving!

The one in flower is the same cut as one of the veg plants, so there's no real reason to clone it if you get one off it's twin :) When are you taking clones off the younger ones - they should be over a month now right guessing they're probably starting to get some size to'em :)

As soon as I know definitively when the daughter's leaving, I'm gonna start going crazy on my preparations... I got all sorts of plans for my crazy vertical led/hps combo grow. I am going to be able to flower out the rest of a couple of packs of plants with my new grow setup... gonna definitely pop the rest of my apollo beans and probably my cheesequakes. I think my new grow with what I'm gonna do I should start being able bump out a pound a month.... what I'm gonna do with all that I have no idea. Probably turn it into hash and edibles.... no connections to sell it in bulk -- too bad I could use the money for my planned move to WA :)

The young ones(TW, CQ, aos) have been in the greenhouse out back and haven't grown much at all. I've been wanting to take them out of the airpots and into one gallon pots at least. They were too dry, so I watered them. Then they got the waterlogged leaf wilt(lost a bit of lower leaves). I can't work them well outside. I have been setting up my space most of the day though, and feel good about the way it's going to run.

If only I could find the pliers I'm looking for. I've tried everything I can think of as a substitute. (I need to replace a head on my ultra sonic fogger.) stupid beading pliers are always in the way, until I need em. :o

Id like to see you do vertical. With my lights being purely arrangeable, I could do a fantastic vert setup in this new closet...
You thinking vert. scrog? Or espalier type training, like apple trees trained flat against a wall in a candelabra type shape?
