siiiiik work Gorbzzz! yes you can top anytime from now, they are at ultimate health if you are worried bout the little algae on the perlite, just cover it up for 5-7 days until the plant shades most of it, but i don't think you'll have an issue, they are ready to blast off! outstanding!

I got the seeds from a friend, there just all random bagseed saved over time

Topped them last night the lower leaves dont look happy like the brown patches have spread over the leaves, but the new growth is super healthy, and i know its not the nutes now cos I have an ever so small amount of tip burn

Thats just a true sign of a deficiency!, once a leaf starts to deteriorate to a point it will continue to feast on itself and degrade from the inside out beasty little plants...i can't see it being a big issue, just pluck them off before they completely die so you don't infect the rootzone. If the new growth is looking green and lush, the Keep doing what you're doing!

Update: Plants growing along rather nicely, they don't look 100% as you can see with lighter leaves on one of the plants but overall not too bad

As you can see from the last photo, they received a little snip

Sorry for no updates fellas, Been a few lazy days after a big weekend.

Tell me what you guys think, any suggestions? The bottom leaves look like there struggling to poke through the top canopy

LOL, We all get anxious must be a pot thing ...... i think you have the light at a good level, you seem to be getting good growth, you cold test however, by raising your buckets a few inches, easier than raising the lamp, but again this comes down to 'do you want itto stretch? or get a little more bushy ? in my opinion since you just topped her, leave them where they are, let the lower branches come up, by that time everything will have caught up and you will be already growing little bushy plants!!

I think there may be a few changing to my system quietly under their breath i mean people see how little work there really is to make it grow. I trust this system 100% and i don't see any reason to change or try something new at this stage. My mentors been growing this way for over 20 years. along with his mates.....and their mates....so the mentors have it in my opinion

They look good to me.

When you do a flush, i think it's best to just replace res with fresh water, and then pump it through. watch carefully if you have the return line closed, as when the perlite is fresh and not much root growth everything will want to float on the water. So watch carefully and fill the pots with water, and then drain away.

I think they are growing fine, if you can have the light closer again, that will speed growth, keep testing to see how close you can get it

Why can't you lower the lights? Try to get the lights lower as soon as you can. That would help bring out the bottom branches up to speed. If you don't lower the lights the most top branches will just keep growing while the lower ones will stay small. I know this from experience as I keep mother plants myself. I am going to be doing a journal on flowering my monster mother plants soon. I can't wait. Use some sort of string or hemp twine and such they are cheap ways to hang your lights until you buy more chains. Just an suggestion.
