Why bash Islam?

Yes, but we are talking about the Quran here neer. We'll go onto christianity in a bit :).
Right. My point is that Islam isn't somehow hors classe. This nation has freedom of religion, which extends to Islam as well, as imo it should. I don't begrudge Muslims their Muslimity. Violent andor criminal acts performed on religious grounds should be considered evenly atrocious, regardless of the source of the "inspiration". cn

how is pushing a one sided view clear, more like super blinders, at least be a equal opportunity hater and hate all people or race or creed so as to punish them all for the sins of there communities or sin perpetrated by their religion or race/nationality

when does it end

stop the hate

So what if the KKK wrote a book about how horrible other races are. And they promise their follwers rewards (like a "family" and a free place to live IDK). Do you think that book should be allowed to be published and sold?

When a book causes wars, I think it's time for that book to catch fire.

these kind of discussion are very interesting

i think im numb to the world, i dont see any event as more of a reason to do/feel this or that . .. causality is something that i try to look at to be objective

people do bad things, no one forces them, if people were hesitant or respected each other it would be hard to ignore our humanity

Don't get caught with any mj.

MJ was really good there, up to 1/2 oz and ur fine, we always bought less as we were out drinking every night (in our 20's) until early hrs. It's also the safest Capital city I've ever visited. We didn't have to dress 'covered up' and even Muslim women in Habibs told us we looked nice (arms and legs showing).

I guess it depends on how much of the World u actually see rather than believe the misconceptions.

this thread is full of biased winning, one piece of evidence is the end all be all of proof that Islam is evil, and the other piece of evidence that says otherwise, well that doesn't count

what a facade

things white Europeans/Americans/christian/Catholics have done Spanish inquisition, manifest destiny , trail of tears, Salem witch trials, carpet napalming of communist controlled Vietnam, Women's suffrage, African American civil rights, MK ultra test in France, the boxer rebellion and many many more in the recent past

where is your hate for these criminal acts against humanity
The best you can come up with is the Spanish inquisition from the 1400's? Trail of Tears from the early 1800's, Salem from the 1690's.

We left Vietnam and Cambodia ran red with blood from the Khmer Rouge.

Let me see, I think I can still vote. Early 1900's.

African American's have civil rights.

Boxer rebellion was in China. Your point is?

What many more.... pray tell me.

I haven't heard of a Christian cutting off the head of their daughter for the honor of their family lately have you?

I dislike censorship.
Were the KKK to write such a book, and were it to actually become significantly popular, I would be surprised ... and saddened. But I'd prefer publishing a scathing excoriation of the KKK manifesto to seeking a ban on it. cn

im looking at the big picture, do you really think that prejudice and discrimination or things of the past, lol come one WW, look at waco, a whole country watched on CNN as tanks ran people over and straight up murdered a large group of Americans for not doing what they wanted or support the vies of our nation, its BS my views are not more important then your views and neither of us have the right to discriminate against one another for it, thats liberty you either believe it or use it as a tool to pat your own back

all those events were choices by people who made mistakes, they were uneducated small minded fools who let fear and agenda treat another race/creed/nationality like they are worthless

savages, we as a educated and modern society are better then being so vain as to se only whats on the surface

and yes Christians do fucked up shit to many people in the name of Christianity, in the name of prejudiced and fear or just straight ignorance

if we dont learn from our past mistakes then we are doomed to repeat them

why is the mentality that we are better then our fears and our own crimes against humanity, whch people conveniently ignore whenever possible while shoving some piece of hate propaganda down others throats

I'd like to censor BS. In return, it would cause alot less deaths and a better society.

But I'd never make the law myself. I wouldn't know where to draw the line. One may say it is BS and another may say well your views are BS. Soon enough, every religion and belief would be illegal and we'd live in a strict dictatorship that would go against everything America believes in.

I guess I'll just be sad that the Quran exists too :(.

I'm not denying that in some cases I have seen extreme example of punishment for crimes (in the media) that wouldn't exist in our countries. However, I have never seen such a mixed country live so harmoniously. It is mainly Muslim and as I'd just been in Buddhist Thailand even I was apprehensive. The Malaysian islands are very rural but when I got to KL, OMG I loved it. There was a huge mix of Chinese, Malays and Indians and everyone was respectful. Buddhists, Christians & Muslims. Only country in the World that I've visited where they slow down on the motorway to let you move in from the slip road!!!

The food is amazing too !!

Ball-busting (incorrect). Door on the way out (peremptory). Either by itself qualifies. You're trying to discredit the message by dissing the messenger. My opinion. cn
You are busting my balls. And the door on the way out was a quote from WW.. I think you misread what I wrote.

I'm not, actually. I am trying to show you which parts of your posts stand up to examination and which ones don't. As I tried to explain to Heph about slightly different issues, pointing out procedural/ intellectual error isn't an assault on your person. Your balls are safe from my attentions. cn
