Exactly. Thank you for making my point. The Constitution gives congress the power to establish and maintain a post office, it does NOT say that there MUST BE a post office. The Constitution also gives congress the power to coin money and regulate the value of. Do they do that? No. They gave that up to the Federal Reserve.

Wow unfuckingbelievable..Do you understand the phrase "the power to coin money and to regulate the value of" it simply means that Congress makes the decision on the type coinage, its value, weight, size, etc...it stops states from making there own money so every one in the USA is using the same thing with the same value. Don't confuse what the Federal Reserve does with what Congress and the U.S. Treasury does.

Look at the wording... Congress imposes taxes .... they establish postal service...I can easily impose (enforce or force) a tax of 5% or impose(enforce or force )no tax. but if I got rid of the postal service that would be the opposite of establish would it not. They are suppose to establish, not get rid of.
You're missing the key element in your wording, power.
Article 1 section 8 gives congress the power to lay and collect taxes and the power to establish post offices.
