Hi Weed Nerds, Ive decided to switch to all TGA gear in my garden. I love being a weed nerd so much i have decided to post my grow here. 1st off Ive been growing indoors about 6 years so i am still new at this but have come a long way too. Any helpful comments are welcome, Ive got tons still to learn.
I veg in a 4x4x7 grow lab with a 400watt mh wing reflector, 190cfm exhaust. flower room is 5x8x7 with 1 1000watt mag hps and 1 600watt dig. hps. both air cooled 6in. 400cfm pulling thru carbon filter then hoods then out of room. intake is 200 cfm. flower room also has 5000 btu window unit. In veg i have 2 vortex clones (future moms?) In flower i have 6 vortex clones on day 6 a in 3 gallon pure perlite hempys on lucas formula. they are under the 1000watt hps. under the 600watt hps i have 2 vortex on day 35 from seed in soil 5 gallon buckets. there is also a chimera mental floss under the 600 on day 61 but its comin down any day. ive just popped a 5 pk of plushberry and have qrazy train 10pk and space bomb 10pk on deck. Lovin the TGA vigor on these plants so far. Also got 100 gallons of super soil cookin and 7 gallon grow bags waitin to be filled. i will have more pics of the plants in a day or two. Never really taken any pics of my grow before so my pics arnt real good. Ill get the hang of it. Thanks weed nerds.

plushberry 5pk 100% germination. seeds were dropped into rapid rooters 9 days ago. looking for a keeper outta these 5 hopefully.

I know its not TGA but i thought i would show the last non TGA strain to enter the garden. Its a Mental Floss from a Chimera ultimix pack. I had 2 but the other one hermied at around day 45 flower. it stands about 5 ft tall in a 3 gallon pot. Its on day 62 flower aith mostly cloudy trics but no ambers yet. has a funky sweet smell to it. this sucker stretched like crazy and has big round buds. hope its fire. Just thought i would show it off since it is in the garden. I'll show some finished shots when i take it down. Its all TGA from here on out.

ok so here is the veg room details. 4x4x7 grow tent.400watt mh wing reflector. Temps are around 85 at canopy level. it usually runs around 80 but its summer and its hoooooot outside. i have a cool tube for veg but the plants respond better to the wing reflector, it just runs a few degrees warmer. 190cfm exhaust. Right now there are 2 vortex clones in veg. 1 might become a mother. they are in soil. i like to top multiple times to make a bushier plant. i only top. no lst or supercropping. my preference i guess. here is one of the six vortex hempys i have flowering. all 6 were in veg for 1 month. currently on day 9 flower.[HR][/HR] ive got a question for the weed nerds. right now i have all the tops pulled to the inside of the cages. should i pull them to the out side to expose the center of the plant better?

and YES that is miracle gro seed starting mix in the 3rd pic. i assure you its the only MG product in my grow. it works great for me in solo cups for clones and seedlings. my hempy plants never see it. BTW, i will always have part of my garden dedicated to hempy buckets. my hempies grow almost twice as fast as my soil plants do. 4 week veg in hempy is equal to almost 2 month veg in soil(in my experience). Gotta admit the daily watering gets old very quick. ive got 100 gal. of super soil cooking as it will be my 1st try at that. Love the water only thing with SS.

yea faster growth and better yield. ive only ever done lucas formula w/ bud candy in hempies. but in flavor and taste it doesnt stand a chance with a properly grwn soil plant. if u dont mind the extra veg time then soil is the way. its just hard to let go of the hempy thing when its so easy and you get such a rapid rate of growth. I'm trying Subs Super Soil next run. I've tried to adapt Subcool's way of doing things recently from using clonex in rapid rooters to 7 gal pots to even switching to all TGA genetics.

I would leave it like it is, looks like its doing great already, depends on how much over head space you have, if its getting too close to the light then I'd spread apart those top nodes.

the hempies are showing crystals already. vortex is soooo fast in hydro. they all are between 5 - 5.5 ft tall. the soil plants are looking very good also. my camera doesnt do them justice. I'll try some night shots next week. oh and here is a quick pic of the plushberry 5pk on day 13 since germination, lookin good. Peace out nerds

I've been eyeballing tga genetics for a while now. I have Jack the ripper, Apollo13 x vortex and Jacks cleaner 2 in my shopping cart at the attitude. Would you say Vortex has scrog potential?

i think it would do good in a scrog. vortex needs support and mine put on a pretty good stretch. but ive never done a scrog so i really dont know. but from what ive read, with the right pheno it would do great.

vortex flower room. all tga all day. front plants day 47 and 6 plants in back (hempy buckets) on day 18, also 2 more vortex clones up front on day 2 in soil.

the hempy buckets are really popping. they range from 60-63 inches tall and have multiple heads. boy did they stretch way more than the soil plants did, but thats hempy for ya. Still planning some night shots soon. Thanks for viewing weed nerdspeace 13%er DOL

the 6 vortex hempys are on day 31 and are looking amazing. they top out at 5.5 - almost 6 ft tall. the 1st two soil vortex were harvested on day 56. two diff phenos. one is not as dense. they are still drying, pics to come after cure. i added two more soil vortex on july 10. thanx for lookin weed nerds.
