These are all "fake" positions, they vote on the same kind of stuff and believe in the same thing essentially.
More rhetoric really, members from both parties have voted the same way. Just depends on the flavor of the bill, who gets payed, and who wins votes.
What have they done drastically different in regards to tax policy? Nothing they vote pretty much the same

obama gives so much zero shit that he went on TV the day after north carolina voted for a stronger gay marriage ban than the one they had and announced his support for marriage equality, risking a state that carries 14 electoral votes.
romney gives so much zero shit about this that he makes sure to announce his opposition to even civil unions if they carry the same benefits as marriage.

Really simple stuff, I mentioned this in the other thread. I first learned in grade school (3rd grade) we would watch the debates and count the number of lies. We also learned that there is little difference between republican's and democrats and the way the two party system is setup to get us to vote for the lesser evil when really its a false choice. Why does it seem soo many people never learned this stuff? I was continually taught this lesson throughout grade school, high school, and college. Are you people forgetting or was I just fortunate to have a proper education on basic American Politics?
Today it is:
Obama blames the republicans for everything and then the republicans blame Obama for everything.
Person who lost their 3rd grade education thinks "Don't you just hate those nasty republicans/democrats? omg I do too, they are always at fault. I am so angry right now I am going to vote republican/democrat to make sure that democrat/republican that I hate so much doesn't get elected."
In the end we all lose out, we got trolled by some gangsters into voting for their golf buddies, nothing changes.
No, can't say that I learned that in the third grade or really at any point in school. Wish I had it would have saved me years of grief.

In the same breath he announced his "evolution" on the gay marriage issue, he stated it was up to the states. Meaning he wants credit for "supporting" gay marriage, but plans on doing nothing at all about it. He rails on about the "rich", while he is a millionaire. He wife got a 6 figure salary working for a hospital, removing uninsured patients immediately after he became a Senator. She never made 6 figures before that. Damnit Beardo you've hit on a very good point. Nobody should have to pay for fags to work in our government. I think that being gay is a very sound reason for someone to lose their job. What with all of the faggy thoughts that they have all day, how can they work when their heads are so full of sin.
If they do come down with AIDS from going to flea markets or some gay theater show then fuck 'em I say. I not going to pay to keep someone alive just because they picked up HIV at some Antiques Roadshow. What about castration for all gay people (women included ) this would cut down on expenses a whole lot I think?
