It just seems pretty straight forward to me, I did not know you did not have to have ID. I go and vote I throw my license and Voter Card down every time for the last 30 years. Who knew I could do it without.

Shit, I'm more harsh than that, I don't think people should vote unless they can pass a simple civics test!
The point is moot, you cant even get medical care without an ID. I am sure we will hear some crazy ass poll tax argument but I still don't know why I have a "tax" to access my money or to be found competent to drive a car.

ummm, what? last two times i went and got medical care they never asked for an ID. you're letting your 14 year old wisdom shine through.

all that needs to be required to vote is proof of residence. you do not need an ID for this.

btw, driving a car is a privilege, not a right. you will learn that in 2 years or so (depending on which state you live in). voting is questionably a "right", but the 24th amendment makes it clear that you do not have to pay to vote. until IDs are handed out for free, to require one to vote would be in violation of the constitution.

of course, the righties here don't care about the constitution except for the second and tenth amendments, so my words will fall on deaf ears.

Why is it conservatives are all against Big Brother, but support the leviathan of all Big Brother schemes, voter id?

What's next, don't vote we kill you! Wasn't that the Kanye method? Didn't know he was conservative.

You can drive at 14 in Montana. My wife still has her learner permit she got at 14 and her driver's licence when she was 15.

I don't know what witch doctor you visit but yes in modern medicine, they ask for ID and SSN....how else can the creditors get cunts like you? Also Until a year ago they had "red flag" laws from FTC that required it.
Sorry dude, but that's illegal. They can only ask for your insurance information, which includes medicare. How do you think illegals get medical care? They all have ssn? I was never once asked for my id from a doctor. I never show id for prescriptions either. All you do is sign your name. Medical fraud is serious business, just ask Rush Limbaugh.

Second, I never said driving was a "right" as voting is, but regardless the point still stands Obamacare has made it clear the government can tax you to buy anything.
you said you can't get medical care without an ID

truth is you can

you are 110% dead fucking wrong if you think otherwise

LOL seriously? I had a bitch at the ER dig my wallet out while I was strapped to a journey after an accident, then I waited for 45mins for an MRI after a bad wreck (I have insurance). Funny how they called for my balance I owed with 4 days oh well. Then I seen the red flag from FTC with my own eyes was at the window.

LOL Canna he is just a twatwaffle with a hard on for me. I am sure when he seen this thread he squirt in his scooby doo's and wants to "desk hump" stupid posts all night long trying to convince people that IDs are "Poll taxes"
I don't give a fuck about poll taxes excuse. I have no problem with the fee. My complaint is the invasion of personal liberty. It's just another way to track you. No one except my landlord or creditors can find me. My driver's license has an address on it where I haven't lived for nearly 20 years. The more mandatory ids you get, the less freedom. I could give a fuck how liberals are pissed illegals and their dead relatives can't vote anymore. Use biometrics, like signature comparison if you're so worried about fraud.

You can sue over that. That's utter bullshit.

[h=3]The FTC's Red Flags Rule[/h] In an effort to curb identity theft, the Federal Trade Commission in 2007 unveiled what they called the Red Flags Rule." The Red Flags Rule requires all creditors to collect social security numbers and other pieces of personal information to prove the borrower is who he or she says they are. If a borrower does not not have the required documentation, that raises a red flag.
Originally, doctors and other healthcare entities were included in the lists of creditors who were required to collect all that personal information, because medical identity theft, including health insurance information, is growing exponentially. But those providers fought the rule, focusing on the fact that they do not consider themselves to be creditors as a credit card or mortgage company might be.

That's because the ingredients in it are scheduled. You're now on a DEA database as a potential meth lab. Blame the drug war and Obama who could end it tomorrow for that. Get a cold, and you're labeled a potential terrorist!
