This is the desktop lamp for lighting , the fan i plan on using for ventilation , and the tote i plan on puting 2 potted plants in , any advice ????

Also my closet is bigger than it appears i just couldnt get a good picture of the whole closet without removing the doors which i dont really feel like doing at 12:00am

when using cfls, the light needs to be close within a inch of the plant.

those are what i use!
...but fir3's link is wicked...that is if you can afford it? if not the reg shop lights will work and for the price you can get two of them

That is rather expensive for a first time grower , but im sure it would be a great investment in the future after i have got some growing experience

your gonna make the same mistake i did. you need to get what you want now and dont worry about up grading until its paid for itself. i got a 150w hps a 4 inch inline fan and filter, that tek four lamp, etc laying around not being used. because i used metal halide and hps instead of getting what i got the first time, i ended up spending 300 dollars more.

im a bag seed grower, im on my 3rd plant, my first one since i switched to dwc. I collected tons of seeds over the last year i got them all in 1 jar so its all random but, weeds weed! i also only use african violet 7-7-7 and Viagrow
NOTE: i am growing 6 plants under 8 cfls and 3 4 foot 12 fixtures as side lighting
im 12/12 from seed this plants 6 weeks from showing sex. thats 2 plants in the 1 bucket in the picture, one is smaller on the right and the bigger one witch has like 5 tops is on the left
