Nuggs I am loving the wealth of info from this thread...but have you ever thought of making videos to help the gardening community. Because when it comes to cultivation you seem to be superstar and i like what i see. I hope you make the cover of hight times also! I think we would all love to see a Nugbuckets Lab channel on the tube.#Nugbucketschannel:clap:
i have never done a you tube vid......i would like to do short cameo updates of each plant just before harvest....if any one feels the urge to help an old guy out with this video stuff, feel free...!...nugs

You already sort of know a video guy, I could probably help you out with that.

Lab Notes.....

....the very last of my dep scene this year is my vortex scrog in 10 gal......but these are second to last....and the harvest can not come soon enough, it takes a lot of muscle and dedication to haul these girls up and down the stairs twice a day!.....(greenie/dep on second floor), and my knees and back are paying the price......but these four are doing really well, i tweaked my soil mix with some weak bennie teas, and the plants are responding well.....my amish mix was heavily "front loaded", and shined in the early weaks, but it's light in the back end....so a hefty tweak will be needed before i run it inside in the late fall........dna's headband looks fucking killer!.....the Flav is going to have really long colas, Ace#1 looks great, and i am stoked to see how my other pheno of D-Train ends up.......my one and only Qush boyed out, so i may use his sperm for a few selected crosses.....

........the D-Train continues to produce pleasing photos, and the Ace(fruity pebbles) is extra colorful in the amish soil.....Enjoy, Nugs:leaf:

with clones, you have to look at it this way....in an asymetrical trunk, the leader will be dominant over any of the node growth below it......so it is just a matter of swaying the dominance away from the main until one of the chosen lower leaders catches up to it in vigor and stem diameter.......and that is done with a pretty radical pinch/bend/bond of the main....look at all bonding, pinching, and pruning as a form of supression, and use that to your advantage.....i will post a bunch of pics of clone specific main-lining in the mainlining thread....be well, nugs:leaf:

Hey Nugs,
I've got a question for the training master...
I've got a giant outdoor plant(4x4x4) that I topped and super cropped like crazy. It's probably got more than 30 top growing points now, and I am wondering if I should choose the strongest, and cut out the weakest, so I can get bigger nugs and a more spaced out canopy?

Interested to hear what you think.
Thanks and peace.

this is a test vid....i am having a fellow nerd teach me how to share vids....thanks bro!......the D-Train is to short and stout for a canopy ring, so i used bamboo to keep her legs spread....you ever see a bud like that at 42 days in organic soil?.....not me!.........rock it out budman!.....looks like you are getting your camera work dailed in too....killer.

i used to do that bro, with success....that got me thinking about mainlining a few years back......i would start from the trunk and prune so that every main branch would carry the same amount of mains for somewhat equal energy distribution.....it may also be wise to prune for ventilation, but do yourself a favor and wait till after a good bud set to do the major prune, she is building flowering hormones right now in the lower growth that she needs to initiate her flowers....if you took all that out now, she would have to start over, dig....it would push her onset out two-three weeks.....good luck
