yep, i put a 90 degree bend, about three inches long at the end of each leg......peacefarmer, you can see in pics earlier in the thread there are little bent "L"s on the bottom of each leg down in the soil
i have never done a you tube vid......i would like to do short cameo updates of each plant just before harvest....if any one feels the urge to help an old guy out with this video stuff, feel free...!...nugsNuggs I am loving the wealth of info from this thread...but have you ever thought of making videos to help the gardening community. Because when it comes to cultivation you seem to be superstar and i like what i see. I hope you make the cover of hight times also! I think we would all love to see a Nugbuckets Lab channel on the tube.#Nugbucketschannel
i may take you up on that the next time i'm in the sunshine state!Come grow in CA and I will
You already sort of know a video guy, I could probably help you out with that.i have never done a you tube vid......i would like to do short cameo updates of each plant just before harvest....if any one feels the urge to help an old guy out with this video stuff, feel free...!...nugs
it is! isn't it!...........what the hell do they call Cali?No fair, Florida is the SUNSHINE STATE! At least don't take that away from us!
with clones, you have to look at it this way....in an asymetrical trunk, the leader will be dominant over any of the node growth below it......so it is just a matter of swaying the dominance away from the main until one of the chosen lower leaders catches up to it in vigor and stem diameter.......and that is done with a pretty radical pinch/bend/bond of the main....look at all bonding, pinching, and pruning as a form of supression, and use that to your advantage.....i will post a bunch of pics of clone specific main-lining in the mainlining thread....be well, nugsI am trying to mainline my clones and it's not easy!!!!! especially my shark attack it just won't cooperate .my white widow seems to be taking to it best and growing almost like it would from seed .got any hints what i can do too get clones growing properly?
And your little dog, too....look at all bonding, pinching, and pruning as a form of supression, and use that to your advantage...
i used to do that bro, with success....that got me thinking about mainlining a few years back......i would start from the trunk and prune so that every main branch would carry the same amount of mains for somewhat equal energy distribution.....it may also be wise to prune for ventilation, but do yourself a favor and wait till after a good bud set to do the major prune, she is building flowering hormones right now in the lower growth that she needs to initiate her flowers....if you took all that out now, she would have to start over, dig....it would push her onset out two-three weeks.....good luckHey Nugs,
I've got a question for the training master...
I've got a giant outdoor plant(4x4x4) that I topped and super cropped like crazy. It's probably got more than 30 top growing points now, and I am wondering if I should choose the strongest, and cut out the weakest, so I can get bigger nugs and a more spaced out canopy?
Interested to hear what you think.
Thanks and peace.
