how'd you do the vent without light getting in?

All you have to do is buy 2 vent gards and face the inside vent in the opposite direction as the outside one. Or something im gonna try on my next box is,go to Lowe's or HomeDepot and buy some of those cheap 89 cent filters and sandwich in between my intake vents. After you cut them to size they should fit just right. This should do 3 things help filter your intake air,help block outside light,and keep you from having to clean your fan's as much and depending on how big your passive intake is you should be able to use one filter atleast 4 times.

Say CD you knw of anyone to grow the AlienDawg i was gifted some seeds of this strain and a few crosses one tht is alien dawg x ultimate chem 11, i want to try these in my next box. Im gonna get the large wardrobe box and i plan to make a reflector,got the idea from a guy off youtube he's using 4 26 watters per plant and it's working well.

nice bro, not sure about using a reflector, it blocks a lot of air flow, i dont know anyone else around here growin, LoL.

this saturday i'm totally designing and building one like your's i'll post pics when its done.. I'm doing all CFL's as well.. however I also have a LED grow board.. that hits the areas of the plants the CFL can't penetrate

sounds like a good plan, my room is dark most of the time plus a dresser blocks that side, the air flows in under it.

i still havent started anything yet, i dont have seeds yet either, LoL. i will order some here soon and get the box up and running again, stay tuned!! later all.

i have always watered mine in the middle of the light cycle.

here we go again, grow #10. i planted the 60 day wonder and purple cheese, both fem, both auto's. cant wait till they pop, more come.

@Eastcoast it's a uhaul large wardrobe box with the metal bar,they usually cost around 13 or 14 bucs they also have a small one for about 12. They have em at every uhaul.
