I hear the goverment gives you free stuff.
Gave me grant money for the laundromats ...I feel like my retirement pay is free to, but that was earned with my years of service. I just feel when I get it I'm doing nothing NOW to receive the 3000+ a month. I think Nodrama gets more free stuff. Talk to your twin about how you can get free stuff or maybe he can just give it to you

so if the state of california offered you a $500,000 grant for the purpose of growing weed to supply the weed needs of your county's medical users you would turn it away?

I've never heard of the govt. OFFERING grant money, but again, I'm not in this situation so I can't say for sure what I'd do. It would be tempting, but money ain't everything.

actually thats what they do with grants. they file the appropriation, and drop the cash in a box collecting interest until it is delivered to anybody who meets the requirements. usually however, the grant money is appropriated with a particular stooge in mind to receive it. sometimes that stooge cant collect his piece of the action (lol prison) so it sits and waits for somebody to claim it. thats why that dinkbag with the ?'s all over his cheap ass suit can sell his shitty books that tell you what the government will tell you for free. it may not be easy to score a grant but its possible, especially if you are part of a favoured minority

The only grants I'm aware of are the kind you have to apply for. There are companies that will do the leg work for you (because it can be incredibly complicated and time consuming). You did hit on something I totally agree with though: favoured minority

you would prefer maybe grants that the government forces you to take? they make it availaable and you have to track it down and apply, and qualify (easier if your are a favoured minority) but they dont hide the grants or require you to do anything creepy or shameful to get them. theres no reality show type challenges, no scrotal piercings or anal probes. its usually less painful to apply for a grant than to pledge a fraternity.

let us all agree to not deny well understood observable facts.
there are many many many grants scholarships loan guarantee programs and other federal state and local programs which are specifically designed and limited to women, favoured minorites, and other groups who are also preferred in government contracting, hiring and retention.
agree or disagree with the rationale, legality, constitutionality and need for these programs, but to deny their existence is a pointless exercise.

also, the treasurer informs me your dues are in arrears again. if you dont pay the balance before the end of the month you wont be invited to the autumn cotillion, and harvest festival.
