I gave her some Schultz Plant Food Plus on Thursday before I went out on a mini vacation. She's taking off! and there are 4/6 females soo far. Haven't seen any male preflowers on the undetermined ones yet which is excellent, and one of the autoflowers is starting to bud at the very top!

I hope it's an indica strain because it's going to be a month before they even start budding, then you put the 8-10 weeks into account then.

How tall was yours at harvest? what strain?
Mine is a little over 3 feet now and just gave her nutes on Thursday and she's taking off again.
I'm predicting 6-7 ft. at finish.

So far I have 4/6 females. One of the NL, in the green pot closest to the monster, is starting to show its sex and it looks like there's going to be male preflowers but I can't confirm it yet, so I'll have to keep an eye on it. The other Northern Lights in the white pot is female :D and the two autoflowers are starting to bud! If you look closely on pic 8 and pic 9, you'll see the tiny buds starting to form as the pistils are flooding in like crazy. I'm hoping to see buds on the monster here soon and I'll give her some more bloom nutes next time I go back. Once again, I'll have to transplant the ones in the smaller green pots to their final pot which will probably be 5 gallon buckets. I sprayed all of the plant's underside leaves with neem oil today since I've noticed some minor holes and tears on the fan leaves from mites or whatever was eating them. On top of that I pissed around the area to mark my territory (:

Have you ever grown NL's outdoors? What was your setup and result?

I'm making some major changes tonight at my site. I went there today to dig a 2 holes to put my autoflowers in that are budding as you see in the two pics. While digging the 2nd hole my fucking shovel broke... snapped right in half at the bottom.. yeah that's Walmart for you. Anyhow I'll have to go buy another one and go back there before dark so I can finish that 2nd hole to put them in next to each other. I'm hoping for a nice little yield off both of my cheesy autoflowers (: how much do you think 2 cheese strain autoflowers would yield at a little over 2 close to 3 feet when done, with 8-10 hours of direct sunlight?

As for my other plants, I'm beginning to think that my monster lady isn't NL#5? Take a look at the first 4 pictures. They're starting to look more and more sativa-like. I don't know if it's because of them just getting taller or what, but ever since seed, they looked pretty hybrid-like until about 2 - 2 1/2 feet tall. I'm hoping it's not, even though I love sativa more than indica, because Ohio only has a short flowering period and sativas take longer but they are suited to flower later in season when sunlight is near 12/12 unlike indicas which cut off at about 15, maybe 14.5 hours depending on the strain. Other than that, she's looking damn gorgeous, what do you think?

The bagseed is showing signs of male preflowers and I'm almost positive but not %100. So I will monitor it for a few more days and pitch it if I see more signs of male and no female. The other NL's are doing great, especially the one in the white pot, she's taking off and getting bushy as hell! I need to buy large pots for their final transplant when I get paid Wednesday. Tell me how everything looks guys and please let me know if you know if my monster is a NL#5 or not. NL#5 from Nirvana is suppose to grow slow and bushy. She grows like a sativa.

One last thing I just thought of, look at pictures 1-5, same plant as picture 6; NL#5. They look totally different right? They both were from the same pack of 10 seeds.

I put one in the ground tonight. I need to go back there tomorrow to top off the transplant because I didn't have enough soil and I need to come up on a shovel here wednesday when I get paid so I can finish the 2nd hole and put the other auto in the ground. I'll post a video of my site in about a week along with some pics. Stay tuned for updates..

Going back there in a few minutes to finish the transplant. I'll take a video or two. Probably won't be the best quality but whatever.

they are one indica and one teva and I hope they grow for a month befor flower that would make for some good organic smoke if you ask me...

I just came down from the mountains and everyones plants got jacked by ash clouds and started to flower hella early.. I wonder what the rest of the season will do to these ladies.. its so frickn early like you said and they all have buds forming already.

I got back from the check-up a little bit ago because I had to flush the queen sativa out a little bit. She was showing some signs of nutrient lock-out with the yellowing on all the leaves starting from the inner-leaf on scattered leaves, looking almost whitish yesterday. I went there today and she looked like she was recovering a little bit but I watered her thoroughly hoping that would help which I will check up on tomorrow again because I get paid.

I need to buy some soil from lowe's and buy a nice shovel that won't break in 10 minutes of using, fyi don't buy cheap walmart shovels, learned it the hard way. So I have to go there tomorrow and continue on the 2nd hole for the autoflower. The other autoflower that you see in the ground was filled with 1/2 of Scott's Hyponex and 1/2 MG continuous nutrient release formula because it's all I had... pros and cons here. I've tried the soil before and it works great as long as you don't add anymore nutrients for a long time, but she's going to finish in a month and idk how I'm going to flush that shit out. Use more water than 3x volume of medium? The other one is going to get the best soil I can find so she'll finish off wonderfully (:

My Northern Lights is getting very big and bushy :D I might have to buy a huge pot and transfer that one as well. Take a look at that white pot in the picture. You think it will outgrow that 3 gallon pot by the end of the season?

That smaller plant next to the sativa queen and NL bush has to be purple haze. I had one as a freebie at the beginning of the year. Long story short, I thought it died; must've mistaken it for another strain because this plant has been purple at the very top for the past month or so and nothing I do gets rid of it. I'll have to be patient and see what happens.

Bagseed in some random brush that's disguised very well because I want to experiment with it. It's showing male preflower but I think I may see some female preflowers as well; possibly a hermie? This bad boy is a good 30 yards away so if I see pollen sacks starting to form I can get rid of it without the chance of it pollinating.

Ohh my thats beautiful! 420 good grow you have going on. I enjoy seeing people work through things and coming out with nice plants. Have you had any issues with the pots drying out in the summer heat?

Thanks guys. I just transplanted everything today to their final pots, autoflowers in the ground and ready to go.
I grabbed some cactus soil mixture, peat moss, perlite, tubs, tons of distilled water and 6 cu ft of hyponex soil today after work and went ham at my grow site. I can't wait to show pics, when my phone is done charging I'll upload them.

Some good and some bad news.

The autoflowers buds are really starting to fill in with growth nicely after these 3 days of pouring rain. The sativa is looking okay, still yellowing on some leaves but growing very nicely, she comes up to my neck with pot height included. I'm getting an apartment here in the next 2 weeks so if she doesn't finish out this season, I'll bring her indoors to finish. I want to make some special brownies which I have never tried before so it'll be a great experience with my own homegrown dro. The NL is now in a green 7G tub, same as the sativa and the other one which I think is purple haze.

The bad news... Sorry for the small pics, I edited them on my phone before I transfered them and couldn't fix it so now they're small for whatever reason. On the other hand... My, what I thought was to be purple haze, is showing male parts... so I'm probably going to pitch it in a few days if I see more signs..

Btw the first pic is me and my buddy with the munchies after a nice smoke session
