Yeah #1 is definitely having issues, tried all I know in correcting it and failed to improve her health.....I even cut off co2 for a couple of days now and nothing has changed.....I'm keeping her just too see what happens ..........can't blame the panel IMO, it's just a bad run...........thanksIt is truely odd to see the one plant thinning like that even after a little burn. After reading somemore on BM, and going back to Nirvana on this strain, it seems they have done something with the genetics to make this plant very needy to lumen output. I quote "We reccomend 6500 lumen per square foot at a minimum" with that being said and the fact that they also reccomend 18/6 for the entire growing period. I figure this is a strain truely suited for outdoor growing if done indoors more fitting to use 400 to 1000 HID.
It is definately not CFL friendly, as from what I can gather looking at yours they don't like the LED's witch is a shame. As I truely want to learn more about the LED's, and get away from CFL's as I will surely stay away from HID's. As for strains I will not be doing any autoflowers at least from Nirvana. Will have to do alot more research before I got there again.
I agree, but does this also completely include auto's???? ......IDK........ will go photo strain next without a doubt/ should have listen to my own concerns from the get go..PS, keep in mind that first gen seeds grown under different lighting (no matter which) will require a minimum of one grow to reboot genetically to the new light source. That said, I am no fan of autos thus far. SOG is an option
Well #1 is beyond a runt IMO, their is something up with her..........will finish this through though and i'll definitely pm youAnd even then, you select the most dominant phenotype. They will always be slightly better hormonally suited do to epigenetic inheritance, as that is the nature of the beast. But environment doesn't determine genes, survival does. I'm breeding under leds, they still get light burn from too much blue in veg, but damn are they insane little buggers.
Soon the "babies, babies, babies" thread will be updated, as two of the AOXCW2 plants are ready for flowering, but that wont be for a week. From first hand experience though, there are always those plants that are just little fucking bastards, they just don't want to do shit. I realized how crazy I was for starting from such a genetically isolated pool. Turned out well though... Experience is what makes masters, dedication is just experience farming for people IRL.
By the way Psu. PM me about seeds.
Sincerely,
ILovePlants
Nice haul Chi..............and keep posting pics, would love to see what your up toolooking goooooood heheh
BTW, the final weight of my stuff, was almost 70 grams. Very nice. Let' hope we keep taking it further
Good luck here looking nice
Hey chaz, well the link is in my first post at the top to the info on this light..............to be fair to the panel I overvegged the plants and it became to much for it, had to confirm they wouldn't "auto" on their own and now has put me into a this position//sucks but that's what it is......Hans initially told me to go with two panels but I wasn't going to spend five hundred bucks on an unknown and I stupidly assumed the girls would have stayed small.....Hans and I don't communicate(I've emailed him numerous times) and the last email i got from him was when his panels would be back in stock(nice huh??), so I doubt he would give me a panel for free........But I'm willing to do a side by side with the ID100 vs Hans panel after I take a break from this grow/ Han's says one of his panels is equal to 100w hps so it should be a fair comparison.......and I'll be picking an interesting strain to match my environment/ space requirements. I have some orca scraps left over, so a partition is easy for it.....get back to me if interested..........thanksInteresting journal PsuaGro and reps for a full price purchase of one of Han's panels. You are trusted spirit pushing the boundaries of energy efficient and successful plant growth. BTW can you direct me to his site? I too suffer from CRS and don't see a link anywhere to it.
For 56 watts under 'tri-band' spectrums and this being an AF this is pretty much what I would have expected. Perhaps you'll be in a position to do a side by with a broad spectrum lamp type @ 100 watts and see how the next grow shapes up. I'd kick you one of my IG 100's if you're up for it just PM me and I'll make it happen. While it won't be an exact side by side since the Inda-Gro 100 will draw a bit more, I think it'll be worth doing because at a lot of levels and along the entire cycle the comparison results should be known. FYI I use the 100 for clones but I ran a single OG Kush flower in a single 5 gal bucket by keeping the canopy @ 12" from the lamp from week 9 on to finish. It can be done you just have to know the uMole counts.
Han's website and what he told you are apparently at odds in that the site says one panel will cover a 24" x 20" area but in an email he later recommends a adding a second panel. Perhaps my donating an IG 100 will prompt Han's into donating another panel for your next grow. Hey it can't hurt to ask right?
Txchillies: I would be suspicious of anyone listing a suggested lumen output for that strain. It is completely irrelevant to a plants photobiological requirements. If you have the proper PAR intensities and spectrums, as measured in the PFFD which would be far more appropriate information to manage the DLI it won't matter what lamp source you're using as long as the DLI saturation is met. That being said you should look for PAR readings, measured by a quantum meter, in the 200-300 uMoles at veg and 700+ uMoles @ flower. Growers should never reference a visual value like lumens which a standard photometer reads for the spectral sensitivity (the luminosity function) of human visual perception of brightness.

just sayin
DAY 60..........1&2.................ok put up the left over orca scraps I got from my buddy's room upgrade(not a fan of this stuff for the price/ glorified white paint)......will see if it helps..........that's it
........56 watt phase/ 12-12 for now/ no co2 for now/ and panel is on their chins............be safe and happy growing
