Yeh it`s much bigger than i thought but i could probably find one more in and get another fan then would have a 250 watt setup but this is fine for now . Yeh just gunna give them another two weeks and see the hairs are mostly still white so maybe will leave to bud with the 85 watt extra for like 2 more weeks wanna make sure it harvests mroe than one ounce .

Yeah give them more time rather than less, but have any of the hairs started to turn amber? Ja get another fan and another light, you can grow a massive plant in there then haha an ounce would be cool ja, I would also like to get that atleast!

Think we will both get that atleast but can go for 2 our next runs got another female i`m trying too nurse too health and a few unsexed plants too replace this one . They look still fine and white from just looking at them with naked eye . I`m just giving it long because it`s pure sativa another 2 weeks will be about 8 weeks flowering but it`s flowering time is 12 weeks but i got it on a reduced cycle so think around 9-10 weeks it should be done .
Can`t wait for my space up never gunna grow a 3 metre pure sativa indoor again so much missions . However the smell and thc content are pretty good , I disturbed my plants yesterday by bumping them and it gave off a nice sweet piney smell . It`s near maturation because thc seems to be getting yellowish but i figured since it`s a head high sativa i`d lead it turn more amber .
Just don`t wanna pull early it sucks when that happens the bud gives a massive headache . peace

The strain just gets 3 metres tall outdoor . My plant is only 2ft tall and probably 1.5 ft wide and the nodes have been tied down and did try to lst it after the 3rd node , think it broke free and , I tied its nodes down and pruned it . I was just refering to the genetics that I need to source something more suitable for indoor , have a few unknown strain bagseed going that are hybrids hopefully they stay small because the pure sativas branches are so long but seem to be filling already since adding more watts .

but respect for the attempt, many fond memories of old sativas from years gone by, they are not that practical inside though, unless you get the 'just right' genetics

Yeh question got a smaller Pure sativa swaz plant next to the bigger one that got chopped inhalf by a light fixture . Got a nice hybrid that is growing nice and short with big leaves looks very indica and it`s a male . If i manage to get some pollen from it can i pollenate the lower braches of the smaller swaz plant , making a cross then backcross it with the hybrid again . ? Want to know how long the seeds take to grow I`ve forgotten and if theirs a window of oppurtunity for it .
Yeh I thought the plant would just adapt to it`s environment and stay small but it got massive . Smallest pure sativa I`ve seen is Transkei stays small and has 8 weeks flower , I had two of them but dropped them earlier in the grow because I had them in a cardboard box .
Also how easy are these pure sativas too clone ? peace

6 weeks is the longest time for seeds to ripen, should be somewhat less maybe 4-5 weeks, but every strain/plant has its quirks
you could pollinate the lower branch, make some seeds, and if you want, back cross later
back crossing with a hybrid male parent is likely to give you quite a variety of offspring
cloning a pure landrace sativa is out of my experience, i'll say it would probably clone OK, but most(not all) cannabis clones OK

Awe Just an update ...
Need someone with a keen eye for sativa`s to tell me when will be good to chop the swazi . It`s starting to realy smell now .
The one plant is a male by the curtain not gunna try breed anything i just chopped it so r.i.p lovely compact plant .
The others are showing sex looks like two females so far strain is some kind of skunk bagseed and they about 6-8 weeks old , streched because they were grown funny .
Their is still one yet to show its sex directly under the 85 watt in a small pot , can I transplant it after it preflowers ? Need to put it into the Swazi`s pot after so hope that it finishes soon .
Any advice on when to chop and what flushing techniques i should use would be nice .

Day 99 of this plant and harvested the one swazi pure sativa plant .
Had about 4-5 days of being dry so figured it was fine and flushed.

Was taking too much space up in the growroom and causing the temps and humidity too rocket . Still need to trim it alot more and will get a dry weight on it when it`s dry . Was basically grow with 120 watts of fluro last few days had 85 watt upgrade . Probably could of got more from it since it`s only had about 7-8 weeks flowering but it`s fine smells and looks pretty . Hopefully the others can produce better more I`ve rearranged everything so the 85 watt cfl is at the top .

Yeh your right it`s a very rare strain to be grown indoor so I`m realy going to enjoy it and I`ve been smoking just Indica couchlock stuff for last couple of months , so when this is done curing it`s going to be a nice cerebral head high . The smell is very sweet , some buds have a more peppery smell definately will run it under an hps in the future it comes out realy good indoor and seedless compared to the quality bud i obtained the seeds from . Anyways i still got one of this strain running that i dropped a t - 8 fixture on early in the grow heres a pic .

That plant has four tops and is much better genetics the bud is forming more compact and should produce nicer bud has much more space .

I think you had a ways to go man. the hairs werent receded much and your buds could of swollen a lot more in a few more weeks

Yeh was waiting for the hairs to receed and it to finish properly but had no space to mount the 85 watt cfl on top so was in the middle causing the temps to go crazy . The plant was over the size of my whole cab and had way to many leaves , I over vegged it thinking . It`s fine though just wanted to taste the strain indoors and got another little one of it budding will give that 12 weeks of flower . The outdoor season starts too then i can grow that strain easily outdoors and it finishes rather fast 4 months with a few plants easy 1 kg of dope . Thanks for help though all other plants I`ll let em mature fully . This one was jsut due to my inexperience , the genetics where shit too droopy plant since week 6 when others where still fine and vigourous , so anything i harvested is a bonus .

Thanks I just noticed your wattage is up to around 160watts, try to swap out more for 2700k if you got more flowering plants than vegging. Heading over to your new thread and subscribing (just figured out how to subscribe to threads lol).

Yeh if i can`t find another 85 watt in 2700 k . I`ll try find those y-adapters and add 4 20 watt 2700 k then I`ll be up too 245 - 250 watts which will be sweet on a student budget for now . Don`t want to add the red in there too soon because they did`nt veg nicely and don`t want them to strech any more so will do it later into flower .
