this is forward looking infra red flir for cars, you can see both spectrums here...

with the chopper they switch between these to identify grows, again seamus i must say they use these but rarely go serching out 2 plant grows, my own personal opinion is unless some cunt goes in and gives you up or you tell a friend who gives you up you can grow away with some peace of mind...

some now, a little paranoia will help you stay straight just don`t let it ruin you...

well no site is 100% safe, but this is prob the best grow site out there, irish seed bank have quality seeds, only speaking from personal here but they never let me down yet.. also i never ordered online i bought from the shop in newbridge....

if you are really worried about security search the onion router or tor browser, kang or some of the more tech aware lads will sort you there, i just use the reg internet explorer....

the only thing and i mean only thing is if the oranges wanted peace why do they insist on walking the roads at certain times, they can change hunting laws so as you can`t hunt a fox which are vermin, yet can`t pass a law that they (orange parades) can`t provoke rioting and fighting by walking these routes...

thats my 2cent is all, i don`t pretend to know the full story as its quite a mute point these days...

why lights at 14/12? you now you like 2hrs over a day? why not 12/12 if there all auto all they want to do is flower anyways?

More light per day but the 12 hour dark cycle keeps them in flower. A friend was growing like this and he swears by it. Im going to give it a go as a test anyways. The shifting cycle by 2 hours a day will get annoying though.
As for the autos, they are not the main attraction, just some sideshow girls, the critical+ and somango will be the stars of this grow I think.

Dude, growing in a tent in a locked ensuite is perfectly fine. If youre scrubbing the carbon in the tent, venting into the bathroom, then venting the bathroom externally, then yes, a small heat signature would appear. Better still would be to block the bathroom vent, and vent into your room, venting that into the rest of the house, making sure your smell setup works lol.

But the helis are not busting single light grows as far as I can tell.

I tried to look up the courts transcripts of busts online to see what the causes are, but they dont have the court cases from the last few years online yet.
Im fairly sure, same as it always was, people chattering get you busted, not the heat.
But I bet theres more knowledgable people on here so Ill wait for them to throw in their tuppence.

Hey guys ive just signed up, another Irish grower here.
Just wondering if any of ye have tips about security, uploading pics of my wee grow, proxies etc.
Might be being too careful but ya never know.

use exif tag remover to clean pics, dont think proxies are necessary if your just looking up grow sites.

garda monitoring and requesting / getting info from forums, checking geotags on uploaded pics etc.

garda cant/wont request info on cann sites, they dont even go after growers on irish sites for perspective.

the problem is i would have ta grow it in my house ensuite and i have children would it b wrong of me ta grow two plants in my house with my children living there im not bothered if i get caught with two plants if they want ta spend there money coming after us small guys then more fool them im jus worried about the effect it will have on the kids if any any advice welcome guys

there have been news reports of growers busted with kids in the house- basically treat anything canna related like a loaded gun- grow room gets locked - all produce and paraphernalia are kept in a locked box in the room. Start looking around for grower parenting threads for tips on how to deal with them- you dont want your kid to be sitting in class one day and start talking about daddys special room full of bright lights and smelly plants.

is that the National Geographic doc? where it has the Manchester police doing 4 raids a week? yeah it's not bad that however it's only reporting and it doesn't take a side. the white on back and the black on white is only a setting on the flir. they can set it so cold things show up as black and hot things show up as white or vice versa. the big thing about them is that you don't need liquid nitrogen anymore.
they don't just need a certain size, if your venting every time they come around they will watch you more.
the main thing is to keep it to yourself and for yourself. DON'T DEAL and you'll be fine. if anyone asks where you got it, just tell them your mate, that they don't know got you it.

I can tell you one things lads, the garda heli will not bust your grow. They are not looking for heat sigs from non suspect houses/warehouses. If you get stung it's because of smell/someone grassed you out. The heat is a non issue unless you have every room in the house packed with 4X1000w bulbs. My source is a brother of a guy who flies it

I trimmed my girl up a bit, took away all the sucker branches which were nothing but weak long stems, they were just sapping energy from the plant and crowding up the tent full of leaves, also lollypopped her. Looking for 8 ounces from her, hopefully she can produce some nice colas once this stretch has ended, which it should be doing any day now.

the garda don't need a search warrant if they can display probable cause. but you have to make them display it. when they ask to see whats in the boot of the car, you are volunteering to a search. you could just say no. then they recite a traffic act and you ask them to display their probable cause. if they don't have it or try to say that, by not opening your boot is probable cause, they are lying. they needed it before they stopped you. same with the misuse of drugs act, they need "probable cause" to search you, your car and your house. they arn't even able to look into your bags without it unless you volunteer it. tbh if you don't volunteer then they look at you more and may put you down as a person of interest. it 's better to talk around them or bore them off you.
under the firearms act they are allowed to path down anyone without a search warrant
