Picture update.
Trying to post pictures to RIU just does not work well with my browser for some reason.
My box has 4 tubes in the lid and 8 cfl in the front wall. My entries will be sharing space with 2 other plants that are a couple weeks into flower. Got a shelf ready between 2 existing plants and will plant tomorrow.

It`s cool though just means we got a headstart and can do more techniques to get a better yield .

Haha usually when you are making a note or something you put NB infront of the note so you can see that's an important note, will just make it easier to see who's posting updates and who's just posting pics an so on! I just planted 3 germ'd seeds and 2 sprouted after 2 days, the 3rd should sprout today, all under 12/12 cfl! Will enter tonight with pics and so on! But its a cool thread, will give guys the chance to see what you can get with what wattage system under cfl! Good idea!

Took a pic to show size of my micro pot. turns out its the height of a drink can. I believe acrossed the top is the same length, bottom is tapered.

Got the same sized pot reppin start of day 3 of germination just straight into the soil they ussually sprout over night for me so looks like I got another few days of germination ahead . What does the cling wrap over the pot do ? does the increased humidity help germing or something ?

Yea, it increases humidity and allows the moisture to stay in longer since I don't want to add water to it too soon. I've heard of this method and tried it once successfully. So I went ahead and gave it a shot again. It's comparable to the high humidity if you used a paper towel method, but not as sterile. After another day or 2, basicly whenever I see it poke out, then I'll remove the wrap.

Yup you will be the first entry into class two the hps - led catergory , go for it take an early lead .
If their is not enough entries into your class then you can jst join ours at a later stage but for now we`ll make it two seperate ones for a better experiment and to see how the system`s do vs each other .

Yeah I don't have any pictures on hand, but I got 8 4in by 4in pots all seeded on 12/12 from seed. I also got another plant, from the same seeds, growing in a larger pot but is only 3in tall and flowering.

haha alright awesome! i have not harvested a led harvest yet. i will be harvesting my first one pretty soon(this month) but as i read about led harvests and what not i read that they are more compareable to cfls. that might of been the older leds the newer ones might be better idk tho. ive never done a hps so i have no idea of my real potential.

Glad I found this thread I was just preparing to do a 12/12 from seed anyways. Put a few seeds in rapid rooters 8/7/2012

Strains: #1 and #2 Snow Bud x Champaign, #3 Bubbly Kush
Container: Yellow Hefty party cup
Medium: Blue Ribbon soil
Nutes: General Organics Grow/Bloom/CalMag
Lighting: 96Watt T5HO( May increase to 192Watt after a couple weeks)

Plant# 1 sprouted on 8/10/2012
Plant# 2 hasn't sprouted yet but I bet it will by 8/11/2012
Plant# 3 I just put some Bubbly Kush(Bubba Kush x Champaign) seeds into rapid rooters. The first one that sprouts will be my third entry.

All my seeds should be fem since they were a result of herm due to light timer failure.

ECP - I expect anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 oz per plant. Keep in mind this is a competition grow, its just for fun. We're not going 12/12 to make money. If I ended up with only a 1/2 oz from all 3 that is cool too.

I'm hoping for atleast a half O on my little girl and she's in the same size pot as I'm using for this comp.
